There is a shit load of info regarding that story that she has conveniently left out. I don't know what is missing but there is a hole in that big enough to drive a mack truck through. Somehow i doubt that she is the innocent victim in this drama. Maybe he is a dick, but maybe she is just lying by omission about some important points.
when I didn't want to answer how many guys I've slept with, and he had assumed I had slept with multiple people already.
Either way, yeah she has been around the block a few times.
My point being that she is telling this story from her side and not providing full disclosure in order to make herself look good. It isn't like we haven't seen it before. She probably lost count after about 25 and couldn't provide a number without employing a theoretical math professor. She also could have added a notch to her n count at lunch before they were schedule to meet up. Who the fuck knows. Slut is going to slut. Absolutely no agency and no responsibility...the entire situation is fucked up because he is 'insecure and has a small dick'. Apparently, the hamster never gets tired.
Its when you dont have a big dick so you want to at least have an "energy" of it, so you listen to even more degrading and trashy version of the "real man" bullshit.
The only times women won't answer is when they know it will utterly disgust any man worth dating, or she's fucked and sucked so many that she has no idea what the number is, just that it's far beyond what any man could tolerate.
If she didn't went for typical "Nice Guy" she ommited some important info in this story. No normal guy just slut-shame you out of the blue.
So I see this situation like this. One evening, he asked her how many guys she slept with. So she told him that her body count is bigger than his yearly paycheck. In the end poor guy just got meltdown.
The girl just wanted to paint herself as a victim of this situation, that's my guess.
Hi! I'm the OP. I did leave out the number, because it's not relevant to the post. I's fine that he has his limits, but no matter how many guys I've been with, the verbal abuse shouldn't have happened. He could have just been respectful and moved on.
I actually didn't even tell him the number of guys, aside from that it was in the single digits. He said that he wouldn't date a girl who has slept with more than 3 guys, and said that a girl who sleeps with 5 or more is a wh*re. He assumed my number was higher than 5 and did a 180 in how he was treating me. Other than that, no relevant info is missing.
Hi. Thanks for joining this conversation. We appreciate the additional info.
In my opinion, if you were not serious, if you are just dating or being casual, then the number of guys you fucked in the past isn't relevant to anything and he shouldn't have been asking you. if you're just casual sex partners, it's none of his business. (but, then again, that sword cuts both ways. HIS past is none of YOUR business either.)
If you were serious, if you were exclusive, he's got a right to know the answer and you should have divulged it without hesitation. I suspect that the reason for his hostility was not your presupposed number, but rather the fact that you wouldn't divulge it. When you wouldn't divulge it, he rightly presumed you were trying to hide unsavory or unseemly information from him. He drew those conclusions and made those presumptions because you hemmed and hawed around about it.
If you're exclusive with a guy and demanding everything he's got, you need to tell him more than "single digits". You need to give him the number, immediately, without hesitation. And why would you not give him that? Do you not love him? Do you not trust him? Are you ashamed of it? If so, why? If you're exclusive, that information is very much his business and he has a right to know it.
He did not verbally abuse you. He said that any girl with a number at 5 or more is a whore. He didn't call you a whore. He didn't call you any names.
Hi! We were not serious. He was pursuing me for a couple weeks after having met on tinder, but we hadn't met yet. He did directly call me a wh*re, and made crude comments about me, based on his assumption that I had slept with more than 5 people. He was verbally abusive, please see the orginal post. My comment on this thread was just to add info
The original post has been deleted so I can't read it.
If you had not met in person yet, he should not have asked you. Plus, the entire context of this, based on what you're telling us, is connection for casual sex.
You connected on Tinder, a casual sex site. The entire point of using Tinder is to find people to have casual sex with. A person's number doesn't matter when it's just casual sex. He shouldn't have asked. You were within your rights to refuse to answer. You should have just told him "hey, we're just casual. Let's not get into that."
If you are meeting men on Tinder, understand that you're not presenting yourself as relationship material. You're hookup material. You're casual sex material. And you'll be treated accordingly. Girls don't go on Tinder to find boyfriends or husbands. Girls go on Tinder to find hot guys for casual sex. They use Tinder to find hot guys to fuck right now. And men and women both know it. And men will draw conclusions about you, whether those conclusions are true or not. If you don't want guys drawing those conclusions about you, maybe you might want to consider not using Tinder.
This is not a morality issue. This has nothing to do with morals or right or wrong, or good or bad, or whether what you're doing is good or bad, or beneficial or detrimental. It just is. If you're a woman with a Tinder profile, I see you as hookup casual sex material. You are not someone to take home to mom. You're someone to take to bed, and you are presenting yourself that way.
As an aside, I have no idea why a man would talk for 2 weeks to a woman he met on Tinder. If I were talking to you I would have told you we need to meet ASAP and if you put me off for more than 2 or 3 days, I'd stop talking to you and move on. Maybe that was part of this dude's frustration.
Plus, you didn't meet him. Words on a phone or text. Big deal. Let it roll off your shoulders and move on.
We did meet on tinder, but he said after about a week that he would consider a relationship with me because he likes our conversations and my personality. He lives 40 minutes away and was unable to meet for a couple weeks because of personal circumstances from his end, so I was waiting to meet him so we could see if we connect. Neither of us went onto tinder seeking a relationship, but became open to the idea after getting to know each other a bit.
I do agree with you that Tinder is generally a causal sex site, which made me surprised when he flipped out over me not being a virgin. And I understand that people have limits for how many people they want their partner to have been with, but I thought the slut shaming was too much, he could have just left. This whole situation is a mess, and I think you're right to just let it go and move on. I appreciate your reply, and I wish you the best as well!
how many men have you met on Tinder? Have you ever hooked up with any of them?
We're getting lost in the weeds here because you're trickle-truthing us. Maybe there's no way around that. Tinder is casual sex, that's the initial context. But now you're telling us you two were talking relationship.
He didn't flip out over you not being a virgin. He flipped out because you didn't tell him your number. And because you were talking "relationship", that's why he asked. I think he asked too soon. I would have met and fucked you first, then started thinking about whether you were relationship material. And that's the attitude you can expect most men to take.
I would have had the "how many" conversation around the same time you indicated "let's be exclusive" to me. And if you balked at "how many", you'd go back into the casual sex bin and you would have immediately and forever disqualified yourself for anything more than casual sex. You'd be "demoted to plate", as they say over on the Red Pill subreddits.
Such a pleasure to make your acquaintance. What do you hope to gain by joining this conversation? Since you responded to my original comment, I assume that you have an issue with it. Please, pray tell what that might be.
She wanted unfettered choice is life, then gets quite bothered when somebody chose to think of her in an unflattering way. If you want to look at Tinder like a buffet table, picking and choosing as you see fit for any particular reasons you want, don't be surprised when people do the same to you.
You don't get to choose the way others perceive you, except to do everything you can to live a virtuous life. This used to be the point of virtue; we cannot control what others do, but we can control ourselves.
Of course, now so few people can control themselves that it's easier to turn the blame for moral failings on the people doing the perceiving. "That guy's an asshole because he judges! Don't slut shame!" If you want to be known as a good person, do good. Live rightly. Don't blame the people who can't help but notice your obvious failures.
Do not message oatmealisyuck with any abuse. Don't PM or DM her at all. If I see or hear about any abusive things you say to her about this privately or on this board, you'll be permabanned.
Hey. In your post history you asked at another subreddit:
Men, do you judge whether a girl is relationship material based on how many guys she has slept with?
The answer is yes. Even if men are telling you they don't judge based on your number, they do. Even if men are telling you it's irrelevant, it is relevant. It is very, very relevant. We men consider this to be crucial, vital information to assess whether you're relationship material or wife material.
It looks like you have already responded to some of the other guys regarding this. So questions are answered.
Since you never actually met the guy and only had tinder/text conversations, then the whole issue is just a circle jerk and doesn't matter anyway.
Just for future reference, different guys have different views of what is and what is not important. Some will be OK with whatever your single digit number is and others will not. Obviously, lower numbers are more desirable than higher values; but there is nothing that can be done to change that just like there is nothing that can be done to change the way that they think and feel. Be honest and it will work out or it won't. Guys deal in respect. Lying directly or by omission is a sure fire way to show disrespect and mistrust. The truth will always come out, so you might as well lead with it and see how it goes instead of trying to hide it and dealing with the ire later on after you both have invested time in a relationship.
Soapbox time. I have said it before, and I will say it again to you men.
You, as men, are entitled to like or not like anything you want about a particular woman. You're entitled to reject her for any reason you want, any reason you see fit. If you don't like her answer/nonanswer to "how many guys have you fucked", you are entitled to say so, and to end it right then and there.
I don't care that she doesn't like it. I don't care that it's politically incorrect. I don't care what others think about it. It's your life on the line. It's your money. It's your sex life. It's your marriage, kids, whatever.
If a woman is coming to you demanding that you give her exclusive, unfettered, 24/7 access to and use of your time, money, attention, labor, a claim on half of that for the rest of your life whether she stays married to you or not, and your sexual fidelity, then you are entitled to know whatever the fuck you want to know about her, and you're entitled to find it out through any legal means necessary. If a woman is demanding that you "get serious" with her and forsake all others, then you are entitled to know whatever the fuck you want to know about her.
You are NEVER going to get completely honest answers to these questions. The best you're going to get is some halfassed mealymouthed round "best estimate" that does not include
--bar bathroom blow jobs
--spring break sex
--vacation sex
--sex she doesn't remember
--sex she didn't like/didn't cum
--men she had sex with once
--sex where the guy didn't cum/got whiskey dick
--sex where she or the man or both were under the influence of substances legal or illegal
So ask the question, and then use your general Red Pill knowledge to fill in what she's omitting intentionally or because of faulty memory. Take whatever she tells you and double or triple it and then you'll have a good idea of her actual N.
And if she refuses to answer, gets defensive, or otherwise tells you you don't have a right to know that? You CUT HER LOOSE. You END IT right then and there. Because that sets the tone for the rest of the relationship. If she can't look you in the eye on this, she won't be able to on other things either when it really counts. If she will keep this from you, she'll keep other things from you too. If she gets defensive about this, she'll get defensive about other things too. If she can't be honest with you about this, she will lie to you about other things too.
EDIT:
I can accept that a woman has a sexual past. She must accept that I have a right to know about that and use that information to gauge what I'll be willing to give her. I can condition my exclusivity on whatever the fuck I want to condition it upon.
The issue is not that a woman likes sex, likes to have a lot of sex, or insecurity. To me, it isn't even that she had a lot of sex with a lot of different men. The issues are full disclosure, honesty, trustworthiness, her character, whether I'm getting the same sexual treatment at the same times the other guys got, the kinds and character of the men she used to fuck, and how her past relationships proceeded and ended. I have a right to know all these things, particularly since I'm being called on to give her 24/7/365 access to my money, time, labor, attention, and a claim to half of those things for the rest of my life whether she stays with me or not.
Consider this. A woman is going to want to know, and will expect you to be honest about:
--whether you have a criminal past
--your educational/job history
--your past marital history, if you have one, and whether you have any children by other women
--if you've ever had any sexual diseases
--if you've ever had any addictions or been treated for mental illness or have any chronic medical conditions
--if you've ever engaged in homosexual conduct
And if you hesitate to answer any of them, you'll be kicked to the curb before the first word of protest is out of your mouth. If you get defensive, if you refuse to answer, if you tell her you won't answer, if you're discovered to have lied to her about any of these things, you're DONE. She deems herself entitled to know all of these things.
You know why a woman wants to know these things? Because with human beings, past performance does predict future performance. If you want to know who someone is, look at who they were one, two, five years ago. If you want to know how someone will respond to a given situation, look at how they responded to a similar situation in the past.
It is no different with a woman's sexual history. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. If your past is relevant, HER past is relevant. It is ALL relevant.
You're exactly right that women are permitted any number of choices in any number of situations and are free to take any of them without any justification necessary, but the second that choice is turned around on them, it becomes a problem. No, if "choice" is something to be worshipped, then don't be surprised if people choose to pass on you for any reason they want.
You want choice? Fine. This guy chose to think of his GF as a whore. That his judgment call. That's the criteria he chooses.
OK. But I don't really like the whole "whore" label, because it overlays morality on this whole thing and that keeps us from getting to the truth about what's going on.
My personal opinion? Reject her for relationship. She doesn't get a relationship. She gets casual sex. She presents as "casual sex girl". She doesn't present, or qualify for, "relationship" status, because of her number or because she won't divulge the number or because she can't or won't look him in the eye on it.
She's not a "whore", or at least I won't call her that. It's just that she is limited to casual sex, and she doesn't get a relationship or exclusivity. She's a plate, that's all she's good for, and she doesn't get to be more than a plate.
I think that moral truth is truth. But, even if you reject the concept of a divine, transcendent moral order, I still think that morality has a place as a guide for functional societies. Morality can still be thought of as the collection of accepted rules that produce desirable outcomes in civilized cultures.
I'm not denying that "whore" is a loaded term, but if you are saying that her only purpose in life is to be an easy score for men who expend the right amount of resources to attain her attention, then we are basically talking semantics here, aren't we?
I hardly see how calling her a "plate", a woman whose sexual life serves no procreative or pair-bonding function, is really any different. We all know that her strategy is not intended to find a lifelong partner, nor will it (odds are good for a marriage in her thirties followed by divorce), but she does get some material benefits from it.
Whether you're selling yourself for cash directly or for the perks of multiple, casual relationships seems like a distinction without much difference. Arguing that a person with a high number of sexual partners is not a whore, just somebody to be used for gratification, is splitting hairs pretty finely.
Not disagreeing with anything you're saying here. I just don't see the point in discussing whether something's right or wrong, or beneficial or detrimental, in this context.
All I offer is the truth about male and female sexual nature, and sexual attraction and how it works. All of you may do with that information whatever you wish.
I don't think that's what he meant. You're injecting morality into the situation in his scenario. Women do the same shit when they choose between men they fuck vs men they marry.
I think what he is conveying here is that she doesn't qualify for a relationship because she didn't meet his standards. Just like how women don't fuck with men under six feet, men too have standards for relationships.
She has to prove herself to be relationship material. That's a woman's problem not men's. Just like how nice guys try to nice their way into a relationship with a woman, she's trying to sex her way into a relationship. Trying to upgrade herself and force a relationship without the man's consent is her raping a man's time.
"I'll take sex if that's all you have to offer".
Patrice O' Neal said it best:
"You are sexable, just because you're sexable it doesn't mean that I'm sexable. Just like love, just because I'm love-able doesn't mean that you're love-able too.
You didn't do the things I had to do for you to love me. At best you're like-able but if you stick around long enough we may come to love you, it just takes time."
So with the above in mind, the standard in the scenario above is her having a high n count is grounds for no commitment. Because she offers nothing else other than sex, she will not be able to move past plate status. It's not morally wrong she just didnt meet his standards for commitment.
I had a relationship with a THOT last year (back when I a naive shithead) and she had all the major red flags but I didn’t know what I didn’t know. One of the major red flags was her promiscuity. Her non stop list of her sexual escapades, friends with benefits, threesome and I don’t know how many she didn’t even tell me. At first she was casually opened up when I wasn’t serious with her because she didn’t know me better. But later on she realised I wasn’t one of those fuckboys so she got me into a “serious” relationship as her wall was fast approaching. At first I thought these were some minor things but later on they really started to bother me. When later asked about her sexual history, I used to get an ever famous reply , “THE PAST IS PAST, WHAT WE HAVE IS NOW”. The more she tried to hide it and the more I thought it couldn’t uncentre me, the more miserable I became. Finally I had to cut the bitch lose. Just within a week of breakup, I see this guy who she had a fling with around 10 years ago, got back together with her. MORAL OF THE STORY: It’s not about promiscuity. It’s about anything that makes you feel bitter about being with a chick. The moment you realise this, ditch her because you will live to regret not having done that.
1) A girl ( n-1) who’s fucked her boyfriend of 4 years 5-6 times a week raw dog, anal all the crazy shit you explore in a relationship will be super bonded to this guy. Alpha widow chances are high.
2) a different girl who’s had a let’s say 5 flings ( n-5) is a free spirit and likely to next you. Lower alpha widow chance, but likely will get bored of you and move on.
Both girls come with inherited risks, but different risks.
This was so good, I screenshotted it and uploaded it to the cloud.
This is the most empowered thing I’ve read on here and I would buy you a beer if I could.
I just started employing this tactic in my dating life and I can say that I am for once almost satisfied.
I told the lady I’m dating now I expect sex once a day (of some sort), that’s my standard. She questioned it, I simply said that’s what I want and if you don’t want to do it, I understand but I will go elsewhere. Guess who gets fucked on the daily now?
I expect her to take me out once a month, I get taken out once a month. Through this post you put on another thread in the past I realize I can do whatever the fuck I want. I only need to compromise if I see fit, and other than that it’s my way or the highway. My commitment/resources is the only chip I have to play and if I am going to give it out you have to earn it.
She's not telling the whole story. He didn't flip a switch and suddenly go nuclear. She either lied or trickle truthed (as women do) and he found out through her friends or social media. Obviously, this story only works if she's the victim.
Women simply can't own who they are. They want to be sluts until they're ready to settle down and suddenly they want to excise that image.
For the ladies who lurk: Own who you are. Be honest about your past and accept that relationships are going to be harder to find as you get older and as your count goes up.
For the guys: Women don't value themselves, so don't assign value to them. Date, fuck, have fun, and when a woman, inevitably, shows you who she really is just walk away. Don't make a scene, say nothing, just ghost and move on.
She's not telling the whole story. He didn't flip a switch and suddenly go nuclear.
Agreed. Very suspicious. She acts like he suddenly had a light-switch moment but few guys are going to make all that effort only to suddenly switch their behavior in such a short time for no reason. She's just painting him as the bad guy to make herself the victim. Guys are less like to do a 180 unlike women which is common behavior for different reasons (or no reason) so they think it's common for a man to do the same.
Hi I'm the OP, I didn't lie to him or anything. He asked me how many guys I've slept with, and I told him that I didn't want to tell him. I did let on that it was in the single digits, but I felt uncomfortable when he said that a girl who has slept with more than 5 guys in her lifetime is a wh*re. He assumed I slept with more and began verbally abusing me. He did flip a switch, and that's why I made my post to /AskMen, to see if they had any insight on why. He was very sweet to me before this.
So, you trickle truthed him, no surprise there. Let me give you some real talk advice. Guys respect honesty. We may not agree with your choices or want to enter into a relationship with you, but we respect honesty. If you would have said, "I've slept with 7 guys, one of those was a 1 night stand." He MIGHT have taken your whole person into consideration. But, you chose to trickle truth instead which means a few things: you have something to hide, you don't respect him, and you're not willing to own who you are.
You have standards for the men you're willing to date/sleep with. Men have standards too. The standards for women we want to sleep with and women we want to date typically vary. If you present yourself as a woman we want to date, and later on show us you're not because your values do not mesh with ours means you've wasted time for both of us. It's the same as if a man told you all the things you want to hear and then underperformed.
Own your number, who you are, and what you're looking for. Seek out men who want the same. The men who have what you want, but disagree with your life choices, do them a favor and leave them alone.
No I didn't trickle truth him, I refused to give him information that he wasn't in a place to know. It's personal, and I hadn't even met him yet.
I am fully comfortable with my choices, but why would I tell someone who would verbally abuse me over them and try to make me feel like I shouldn't be?
And if for strange reason dub refuses to validate you, go sub hopping until you find one that validates you. Then take the advice from that sub and... destroy your life with it.
They don't, but they can't help themselves. They're driven by emotion, instant gratification and validation.
They know men don't like it, which is why they lie, then when the man says 'no more' after finding out some truth, they flip it and say "I don't give my real number because men can't handle it"
Well, if cupcake was actually proud of it, she wouldn't have lied in the first place.
Can't tell you how many times I asked that question, then it got brought up down the road and their number changed.
Or, if she was serious about the relationship she could have answered the question honestly and directly. However she was not serious about the relationship. I am sure that listening to the harpies in the comments section will work out great for her. /sarc
The fact that this was asked on the "Ask Men" subreddit told me all I needed to know about what the comment section would look like.
The most pathetic thing on Reddit by a mile is the army of white knights who just regurgitate the same tropes and narratives they've received all their lives. "He was a psycho! He's definitely one of those messed up 'nice guys' you so hear so much about. You are worth so much more! I'm sure glad you dumped his shaming ass! I would never treat you like that by using any sort of discernment whatsoever! Nothing is ever right or wrong about any sort of behavior ever!"
Lol so her body count is probably excessively high, if it was low she would’ve just told him as she wouldn’t have worried about being judged for it so.... she probably is a slut, that’s why she got so defensive.
A lot of guys will pass on a woman with a high N count in any circumstance, and that's understandable, but there could be other reasons for him getting angry. There is a chance she wasn't giving him the same sexual treatment as her other partners. Plenty of stories like that have circulated on this sub. Man gets into relationship or gets married to a woman who mealymouths the sex, doesn't suck dick and claims she isn't that sexual of a person. Eventually hubby stumbles across info/videos that show his lovely partner wasnt so "non-sexual" in the past for Chad and the football team. In that case, the N count itself might not be the main issue, but the realization that his woman sees him as a beta bucks cuck not deserving of the same sexual pleasure she gave to other men in the past.
Didn't see the story before it got deleted, so these details might have been clarified by her already.
the realization that his woman sees him as a beta bucks cuck not deserving of the same sexual pleasure she gave to other men in the past.
I like to imagine the absolute rage when a 30-something harpy finds out that 'her man' was way more doting and giving to his last partner --way more giving of his commitment. Imagine how incredibly pissed the chick would be when her man tells her that all he needs to show his commitment these days is to give her a good backseat dickin' every now and then. Her man used to give gifts and time, and now he doesn't do anything close.
The truth is that people can damage their ability to bond, but it is not because of a decrease in Oxytocin production. It is a much more complicated process involving brain molding, other neurochemicals and higher brain functions. However, when an individual choses to engage in casual sex, breaking bond after bond with each new sexual partner, the brain forms a new synaptic map of one-night –stands. This pattern becomes the “new normal” for the individual. When and if the individual later desires to find a more permanent partner, the brain mapping will have to be overcome, making a permanent bond more difficult to achieve. Often the individual is not aware that the brain has adapted to the behavior pattern and he/she begins to think, “That’s just the way I am”, further reinforcing the pattern. In conclusion, research on bonding continues to support previous research showing that the brain is strongly influenced by sexual behaviors.
In 2019, you are not allowed to have personal standards, but women can do what they please. My take is that you can sleep with however many people you want, but don't get upset when your partner doesn't want to wife/husband up the village bike.
There are people you marry....and there are people you fuck
I can understand poor guys not caring about n-count. But if you have money or status no way should you date a high n-count woman. I'm not risking half my shit for a woman who's been giving it away for free.

I'm with the girl on this. As a man you have to accept that everyone has a sexual past, regardless if you like it or not. I've been with women who have had limited experience and it didn't make a difference and my last relationship was with a woman who had far more sexual partners than me, had 3somes and was into swinging. I loved her and accepted that's who she's was. She was open and honest about it all and I respected that. It didn't affect the relationship. Guys, especially young, inexperienced ones tend to think it's a problem that women like sex (unless it's with them!) and it makes them insecure that the woman may be more experienced than them. This post proves it and the guy that posted it is probably very insecure about his own experience when it comes to girls. A girl should be obliged to divulge their sexualities past as it makes no difference to who they are. This post belongs on r/niceguys

If she wants exclusivity, I get to know whatever I want to know about her.

The issue is not women liking sex, or insecurity. The issues are full disclosure, honesty, trustworthiness, her character, whether I'm getting the same sexual treatment at the same times the other guys got, the kinds and character of the men she used to fuck, and how her past relationships proceeded and ended. Try these on for size, hoss:
--A woman has no right to know about her man's criminal past. But he's been clean now for a couple years.
-- A woman has no right to know that her man is a recovering alcoholic or recovering drug addict.
--A woman has no right to know her man's been married before.
--A woman has no right to know about her man's past as a pedophile and did time in prison for it. But he no longer engages in that behavior.
--A woman has no right to know that her man is a secret bisexual who really likes sex with other men and boys but he hasn't had sex with a man in a couple of years.
--A woman has no right to know that her man has had 10 jobs in 5 years and has no money in the bank.
--A woman has no right to know her man has been treated for every sexual disease under the sun except AIDS. Yep: Herpes, genital warts, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia - he's had (or has) them all. But hey man - she has no right to know about that.
--A woman has no right to know her man has an ex wife and two kids he supports.
Those are all in his past. Those are all part of his past. But according to you, no woman has any right to know anything about any of those things.
Son, you can bet your ass and next year's entire salary that if any man withheld any info like this from a woman, it would be an absolute dealbreaker, no questions asked. You can bet that if any man would refuse to talk about these things, it would be an absolute dealbreaker. You can bet that a woman would absolutely break up with any man who refused to talk about his past or was discovered to have lied about any of these things.
You are right. Also the woman that outright refused to answer this basic relationship question is guaranteed to be one of the harpies that says "all men are liars".
She was open and honest about it all and I respected that.
That is a very big distinction from the article in this post. The thot in the OP avoided answering the question and most likely got defensive/offensive about being asked the question. Regardless of what you or she may think...It is an important topic and deserved an honest answer. She refused to provide one.
This post proves it and the guy that posted it is probably very insecure about his own experience when it comes to girls.
That is some next level delusional shit right there. I will let u/DeeplyDisturbed1 respond to that if he wants to. Until then Rule #1--no man shaming & Rule #2--no White Knighting.
Thanks. I read this thread and I am ignoring it. Weak trolling, or insane feminist/social justice person. Either way, u/Aldabruzzo put the kabosh on that shit (thank you btw).
Is there a rule against calling someone a thot based only on assumptions you've made about her?
I did not owe him an answer to that question prior to having even met him. When asking, he said that he would not date a girl who has slept with more than 3 people, and 5 makes a woman a whore. Despite him having slept with 17 women. After having lost interest in a relationship based on this red flag, I definitely wouldn't owe him any information about my sexual history.
You have the right to choose what you are and what you are not willing to accept in a partner. If you want to date a professional whore or you want to date a pure virgin, then that is a choice that you may make.
What you don't have the choice to do is shame men in this sub for voicing their opinions regarding those choices.
Rule #1. Last time I will point it out. The rules are on the side bar---> Read them before making any more comments.
Its just doesn't make a difference! If you like someone based on their count, not on their personality you've fucked it. I'm 35 so if I worked on that logic then I'd be put off by most women! Girls have sex, get over it. Numbers make NO difference to who they are. Again, you belong on r/niceguys. Its not Franco's Spain or Saudi Arabia when women are to do as the man says. If a women doesn't want to tell you her number that's her perogative, not a man's right to demand it.
Jesús you sound like you'd shoot up your school when you get rejected. Congrats on your psychology degree as well! You obviously know a lot about women and have lots of sex!
Not enough info to really make an accurate statement but I see your point.
If the one who posted was telling the truth, the guy really doesn't have much room to get upset about a girl's n-count he found on Tinder of all places.
I'm gonna go with the guy that's in the wrong here. We don't have any factual information to definitively say that she was riding the CC prior to meeting him.
Well, yes we do. The fact that she is refusing to tell the guy about her sexual history proves that she was and probably still is riding the CC. Why else would she get so defensive about it when he asked?
Someone isn't expected to tell you anything. My cousin for example, who lives with me is an extremely reserved female. She's 28 and has only had two long term relationships in her entire life. I'd be willing to guess she's been with less than 5 dudes in her entire life. If someone asked her this question, she'd probably have the same reaction.
You're fairly inept if you believe that a woman (or anyone else) is expected to divulge every aspect of their personal life to you. Privacy exists for a reason.
They're expected to be honest if they want to be in a relationship. If they can't handle that, then the relationship isn't for them.
You're fairly inept if you believe that a woman (or anyone else) is expected to divulge every aspect of their personal life to you. Privacy exists for a reason.
If you don't understand how lying by omission is a betrayal of trust and willful deception then there's no point to you engaging in this discussion until you take a break and understand reality.
You don't get to deflect. Read the linked comment and get back to us when you understand the issues at play.
You're fairly inept if you believe that a woman (or anyone else) is expected to divulge every aspect of their personal life
Inept is the wrong word here.
It is perfectly reasonable to expect transparency in a relationship. Full, open honesty. Given what is at stake, it would be an inept person who would FAIL to ask such questions.
Unless you want a fake relationship full of lies and secrets, in which case you are not inept - you are an expert.
Not answering the question is being honest. It’s not lying, it’s not omission. At that point however, it’s on you to use your judgement to make a decision on how to pieces.
Yeah, I talked to her on this board. She says she met him on Tinder (casual sex) but then were talking relationship. She never met him in person.
All other things being equal, the guy was in the wrong for asking her her N when he hadn't met her yet, hadn't fucked her, and they weren't exclusive. They were talking relationship, but weren't exclusive.
What he should have done was met her, fucked her, and waited for her to try the "define the relationship" talk. THEN he should have had the "how many" discussion.
Don't even ask the "how many" question until you're being asked to be exclusive and give this one woman all your time, money, attention, and labor.
Much of what we do on this sub is to cut through bullshit. Sometimes it is a lie of omission, like when a man asks about N-count. It is one of the most contentious issues in dating these days and for good reason.
But when someone becomes defensive about this, there is something being hidden. otherwise, why not simply answer? Is she standing on principle? What other "principles" will she stand on and refuse to answer when they are married and have children?
Secrecy is perfectly fine, as long as both partners get to be secretive.
But he asked, she responded in a way that belies the most likely truth - she HAS slept around and does not want to lose him over it.
His response could have been better. But one day when you are in his shoes, THEN you can judge.

Hi!

Most guys do care. Some care enough to ask, and some would just rather not know.
I wouldn’t sweat it though. 99% of men won’t even flinch at a body count of less than 10.
[–]AldabruzzoThere is no mercy in this Dōjō6 points7 points8 points (2 children) | Copy Link
Best to you.
[–]oatmealisyuck 1 points [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link
[–]AldabruzzoThere is no mercy in this Dōjō5 points6 points7 points (0 children) | Copy Link
how many men have you met on Tinder?
Thanks. This has been an interesting exchange.

Hey. In your post history you asked at another subreddit:
The answer is yes. Even if men are telling you they don't judge based on your number, they do. Even if men are telling you it's irrelevant, it is relevant. It is very, very relevant. We men consider this to be crucial, vital information to assess whether you're relationship material or wife material.
[–]goodmansaysfuckyouBig 🍆 Energy Misogynist7 points8 points9 points (0 children) | Copy Link
[–]AldabruzzoThere is no mercy in this Dōjō[M] 94 points95 points96 points (15 children) | Copy Link

[–]AldabruzzoThere is no mercy in this Dōjō7 points8 points9 points (5 children) | Copy Link
[–]PlayFree_BirdJr. Hamster Analyst8 points9 points10 points (3 children) | Copy Link

[–]confusedasianx1 point2 points3 points (0 children) | Copy Link

Good job getting rid of that imbecile.
How this Thot continues to find people to take advantage of is beyond me.

The amount of sex a woman had isn't the issue. It's the amount of partners. What would you rather:
Date a woman who had sex with one guy a thousand times then it ended...?
or...
Date a woman who had sex with a thousand different guys one time with each?
[–]takeiteasy34307 points8 points9 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Both are bad, but are bad differently.

Thank you

[–]sleepyweaselisawakeNeighbor of the Beast16 points17 points18 points (2 children) | Copy Link
I did let on that it was in the single digits.."
Good luck to you.

No I didn't trickle truth him, I refused to give him information that he wasn't in a place to know. It's personal, and I hadn't even met him yet.

They don't, but they can't help themselves. They're driven by emotion, instant gratification and validation.
They know men don't like it, which is why they lie, then when the man says 'no more' after finding out some truth, they flip it and say "I don't give my real number because men can't handle it"

This post belongs on r/niceguys

mattymase88: This isn't a debate site. We aren't here to debate.
If she wants exclusivity, I get to know whatever I want to know about her.
I can accept that a woman has a sexual past. She must accept that I have a right to know about that and use that information to gauge what I'll be willing to give her. I can condition my exclusivity on whatever the fuck I want to condition it upon.
The issue is not women liking sex, or insecurity. The issues are full disclosure, honesty, trustworthiness, her character, whether I'm getting the same sexual treatment at the same times the other guys got, the kinds and character of the men she used to fuck, and how her past relationships proceeded and ended. I have a right to know all these things, particularly since I'm being called on to give her 24/7/365 access to my money, time, labor, attention, and a claim to half of those things for the rest of my life whether she stays with me or not.
[–]omegajams12 points13 points14 points (0 children) | Copy Link

Is there a rule against calling someone a thot based only on assumptions you've made about her?
I did not owe him an answer to that question prior to having even met him. When asking, he said that he would not date a girl who has slept with more than 3 people, and 5 makes a woman a whore. Despite him having slept with 17 women. After having lost interest in a relationship based on this red flag, I definitely wouldn't owe him any information about my sexual history.

[–]DeterminedLogic990 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Not answering the question is being honest. It’s not lying, it’s not omission. At that point however, it’s on you to use your judgement to make a decision on how to pieces.
[–]AldabruzzoThere is no mercy in this Dōjō6 points7 points8 points (0 children) | Copy Link
[–]DeeplyDisturbed1Cougar Chasers MVP[S] 4 points5 points6 points (0 children) | Copy Link
