The issue isn’t that she had a “damned grilled cheese”. The issue is that she clearly expects the way to be paid for her. Why? What did you do to earn that grilled cheese? Was it your scintillating conversation?

I had a female roommate years ago who made getting free meals a second career. She'd dropped 40 pounds and started getting attention from men. It's why the landlord took her in as a tenant. Turned out to be a huge mistake on his part. He wanted to throw it in, but was terrified of women, lol.

She didn't make a lot of money at her job, so she used men for food. Within a two to three month period just before moving in, she had gone on dates with 50 different guys.

The newfound attention really went to her head. I wanted her to wing for me, so I suggested we hit the town one evening. She launched into a tirade about a male friend of hers who had been trying to get into her pants for months. He was a stupid guy who couldn't take a hint, she said. I had zero attraction to her, but okay. Try to bang a freeloading, filthy, narcissistic coon living under the same roof? What could go wrong???

She kept an exceptionally filthy house. It was unreal. Came with a huge, untrained dog that was constantly trying to climb on me to get to my food, every time I was trying to eat. Had to start asking that the dog be locked away, so I could be eat in peace. I moved out after four months. One can only stay out and keep to your room for so long to try to minimize exposure the filth.

The only thing she had going for her was her looks. Otherwise, she was a solidly useless human being. Free meals can only be had from exploitation for so long.

She's a single Dog Mom and rescuer now, and her looks have really deteriorated. Has a thing for large male dogs. Lives in what looks to be a shitty apartment or basement with futon furniture. Yet again, another extremely short sighted woman.

May I ask why females place so much value on expensive restaurants and meals? Is it a status thing? One can't get more frivolous than that.

Most can't cook to save their lives. In my city, I see a lot of women dragging their families out to eat, even on weeknights. Fast food and pizza. Average to above average men with two kids and fat as fuck wives who wasted no time in letting themselves go, well before they hit thirty.

App dates: always do coffee or an alcoholic drink. Never food.

Also, we men really should stop with the whole "I'll pay for everything." My dating life got much more pleasant when I started splitting everything. And yes, there are lots of women out there who will split the bill.

The ones who don't split are the ones who will ruin your life in many other ways, not just financial.

She probably said that after he paid the check; if she had said it beforehand he could asked for separate checks. A THOT saying anything to the effect of "We're not compatible" after the guy pays the check is a big indicator that she was just using him for a free meal.
