Women are the gatekeepers of sex, while men are the gatekeepers of commitment. Therefore, men that give commitment (friendzone betas) and can't get sex are losers, while women that give sex (sluts) and can't get commitment are losers.

Is it a double standard? Yes it is, but the double standard is 100% justified. To be a STUD, you need to be at the apex of your bracket in term of wealth, look, status, and charisma. To be a SLUT, you just need to be there and be willing.

Probably not going to be a popular opinion but this woman makes me want to go on a rant.

I get it, sex is really fun. Especially with someone good. If you enjoy sex, then go enjoy sex. You'll be happier when you live your life not giving a fuck about what others think. There's nothing wrong with a woman enjoying casual sex with multiple people, just like there's nothing wrong with a man doing the same.

However, having sex with multiple partners while looking for a committed relationship is like wanting to go on a diet and wondering why you're gaining weight after eating at an all-you-can-eat buffet every day of the week "because it's so good".

Shame works because people that are shamed know it's true. If it's not true, then they don't give a fuck. Calling an overweight person "fat" to their face hurts their feelings because they know what they are, and they know that overweight is unhealthy. The same reason she feels shame is because she knows she's going beyond just enjoying sex and she actually uses it as a tool, as many women unfortunately do.

She doesn't understand that sex is to men is what commitment is to women. Actually, many ladies don't understand this and I think it shows a lack of empathy to an extent. Whenever I wanted to pursue a relationship with a man, all communications with other men were off the table. I didn't string along this fucking circle of friendzoned back-ups orbiting me. Why? Because how would I feel if a potential husband had a circle of back-up girls sending snaps all hours of the day? I don't do onto others that I wouldn't want done onto me. Is that considered "puritan" nowadays? She doesn't think beyond herself and it's infuriating, and she'll pass those same shitty values down to her kid.

In the future, when she does finally get someone, she'll expect him to cut all ties with any friends/family that is remotely attractive because they're a sexual threat to her, all while borderline emotionally cheating with her male friends; when her husband calls her on this she'll whine that "they're just her friiiiiiieeeeends." And then she'll wonder why her husband becomes a shallow husk of his former self because men aren't stupid and know when something's off.

Everyone would have a much better time if they understood that men and women have different needs for long term relationships. I'm not really sure how to really state it, but women need emotional commitment and men need sexual commitment. For example, my marriage is open for my husband but not for me. I initiated this because I feel secure in the fact that my husband is emotionally committed to me. However, me having sex with other men is completely off the table nor do I desire it in the first place. Out of respect, I don't send any photos of myself to men or post online either because my sexual commitment to only him is important to him as his emotional commitment to only me is as important to me. We have an absolutely stellar relationship and have been together for a long time. I feel like many other women would have the relationships that would make them happy if they tried to understand anything at all.

I'm not really an advocate for slut shaming or anything, but we need to stop pretending that promiscuity and the current hook-up culture being promoted in society leads to optimal outcomes for all people. It's really an unhealthy mindset to have, and you have people like this woman who are so utterly confused and distressed at their situations. On one hand, she is being brainwashed by society to think it's ok to be a slut and that there are no consequences, nor should there be, and on the other, she's facing the consequences and doesn't even realize that they're directly tied to her actions. I swear our culture is degenerate as fuck, and it's sad that people are prone to enable her and encourage her destructive lifestyle instead of selling it to her straight.

edit: I can't tell you how many times i've had this discussion with girl friends of mine ,and they still engage in the same behaviors that led to their misery. They have the power to change this at any time, but they choose to engage in shitty tactics whilst being cheered on by morons. It's really disgusting
