FDS isn’t quiet about the fact that they purely focus on maximum female benefit, with no regard for the male. In fact, I would say FDS isn’t even about finding a man. I see FDS as being nothing more than a strategy to access the benefits a man has to offer. FDS even states in their “About” section: “Mutual benefit should be a byproduct, not a goal”. Finding a HVM is a means to an end (maximum benefit). FDS has a largely Dark Triad approach towards their “strategy”. I look at FDS as being similar to that of many of TRP’s and PUA’s strategies. PUA’s goal isn’t to find attractive women to date. Their goal is to have sex with them. That’s why their strategies are focused on the end game. The attractive woman is a means to their end (sex). FDS resonates with two other communities that I can think of off hand. The first community would be the male PUA community. I see many of the terms that originated in the PUA community being used in the FDS Handbook. The other community that I see FDS having a lot of similarity with (and using a lot of similar terms as) is the “open hypergamy” movement that gained popularity in the female African American community.

FDS does indeed want women to have their expected gender roles eliminated while at the same time holding men to traditional standards. The whole “rules for thee but not for me” deal. They don’t take into account that any man, including the ones they want, will have a problem with this concept. Any man that disagrees with FDS is deemed low value scum. It is filled to the brim with hypocrisy. That might be why they ban men from all discussions.

TRP does focus on developing the dominant and masculine traits in men. Those traits are inherently attractive to women but TRP doesn’t want you to develop those traits for women but for yourself. It also mentions hypergamy as an inescapable truth. Like how one can’t be mad at a cat for chasing rodents, it’s in their nature. Of course there are who make red pillers look bad. Every group has it’s idiots. TRP prides itself on being straight forward and logical. I’m not very aware of any hypocrisies. Anything that seems like hypocrisy on its surface is usually explained logically. They also don’t ban women and encourage debate unlike FDS.

No. RP isnt "outraged" that hypergamy exists. Anger phase men are outraged, late stage RP men accept it and work around it.

Pretty much yeah, not necessarily the debate your looking for but both subs seem to on the surface provide good life advice that amounts to: Be who you want to be and try to live your best life, single or not. But then all the explicit and implicit misogyny, misandry, narcissism, and bitterness fall into place and now it's not about finding a partner but more about playing a game and reshaping the rules of the game.

Female dating strategy believes gender roles expectations for women should absolutely be eliminated. Women shouldn't be expected to be caretakers, and are fully capable of leading their own careers and deserving of the same respect. This is absolutely reasonable, but their approach to dating resembles 20th century courtship behavior of demanding to be pursued every step of the way with the man initiating everything. Having women be prizes that men compete over and essentially earn like a job promotion is what contributed to the misogynistic mindset many men had over the years.

I agree.

The red pill on the other hand favors the gender roles of the man being dominant, in charge, and overall the breadwinner. They want to be the head of the household, and have much more traditional beliefs on gender roles and marriage. At the same time, they're outraged at the idea of a woman trying to secure the best man she possibly can and being "hypergamous." If you want society to basically return to women catering to men, don't be shocked when they don't want to cater to some 25 year old with a dad bod and receding hairline.

uhmm, I disagree. Yes there are some radical hard core that have taken over PART of TRP, but my take on TRP has been - in a nutshell:

This is not the 19th century/early 20th century after the sexual revolution things have changed, just like the song says "Girls just want to have fun" and then - later in life - once they approach their 30's they want to find a guy with resources to marry them and father their kids. And... statistics indicate that there's a very good change you're going to get divorced, and if that were to happen you're going to lose 50% of your assets and have to possibly pay for child support and alimony.

That is the harsh truth: what is that you want to do?

TRP mainly trained guys to become Chad, and offer to the "Girls who just want to have fun" what they are looking for: NSA FUN and SEX.

That was my takeaway from TRP from 2014-2015, and that is TRP for me and for many other guys.

Opportunistic? Dunno, I call it giving to the market what the market wants.

I am not Red Pill, but I'm pretty sure that they advocate for male self improvement and that they don't expect women to just settle for unattractive men for sex. Outrage, or "the anger phase," is just something that they identify as the first stage of a man swallowing the Red Pill.
