One of the things I've noticed about these films is how they all seem to push very lesbianised women and ideaology: short hair, needlessly aggressive attitudes to everything, 0 romance, any hot guys are just to be defeated or ogled at. It's been shown time and time again that women do not go to see these movies, there is almost nothing that attracts them to it.

Yet they are meant to be girl power movies that women are supposed to celebrate, it's simple since women neither relate to this behaviour or have power fantasies about being a masculine asshole. There is a huge disconnect between what a woman says she wants and what she actually wants, buys into and spends her time getting excited about. Turns out media showing women in submissive roles and relationships, especially during older periods in history, is selling record levels, because that is what they enjoy as entertainment, relates to and subconsciously want.

Meanwhile male lead action films continue to be insanely popular. At least when women watch these they have hot guys do cool talented action and fighting other men. Then dominate or reveal his vulnerable side to a women of his choice, usually a damsel or weaker than him. I've noticed women actually like watching sports for the hot dudes and man on man action but wouldn't watch women's sport in a million years, despite saying they support it. Something tells me all these girl power Marvel films are going to flop hard as hell.
