Mindset. Regardless of where you started, your brain is 'neuro plastic'. This means that you can form new thinking/reward pathways. You can learn how to be alpha, but don't forget how to be beta. That can be useful in the right situations.

Alpha and beta are behaviours, not people.

People change. If they have the will and desire to.

As others said, wouldn’t be much point of having 4 red pill subs if people couldn’t change.

It's a journey. A never-ending path to true adulthood.

Everyone can move at least a little down that path. Some faster and farther than others, based on where they started and their genetic makeup.

It's the whole nature vs. nurture debate. I personally believe that alpha/beta qualities can be preset prior to birth to a certain extent. We are all born with unique characteristics that make us who we are. I mean just look at toddlers. Sure they have very similar characteristics but they show difference in intelligence levels, temperament, aggression levels and need for attention. Then when they grow older that is when other factors play in, such as environment.

I even remember being in the playground in first grade and there were hierarchies that began to form. There were the aggressive types and they would have their top dog unofficial "leaders". They were the ones that kind of set territories because they waned the monkey bars or swings for themselves. Then there would be the "mid-tier" kids that kind of just played in pairs playing tag then making sand castles. Then there were the lower caste kids that stayed out of the playground all together to find insects.

A natural born beta, can improve and learn to change/improve for sure. But the kid that was looking for insects in first grade probably won't ever become the kid that had his "soldiers" limit the time all other kids spent the with monkey bars, for his own gain.

Alpha and beta is a spectrum and you can always move from one end to the other end. They are also pretty subjective terms. I prefer to use healthy and unhealthy behaviour

Alpha means leader. Its dangerous stepping up to the plate because it risks failure and most people cant risk their ego being bruised. Those that can withstand it get the rewards. An alpha would approach the cute girl, a beta would chicken out and kick himself all day. A beta is a man who is risk avoidant and fearful. He will follow a man who has Alpha/Leadership traits and so will women. It is a mindset.
