My stbx still can't get it out if her head that I'm not going to be continuing to pay for everything anymore. She's taking so much akrasyd and leaving me with just my investments (or at least for now.. may go scorched earth)... Already getting child support... And now still wants alimony... Mediator even advised that maybe she shouldn't expect alimony... But get this... She plans to find some 'paet time work' because she still wants to be with the kids... Like I don't think she understands what being a single mom means. So detached from reality.. like if you don't need the money that bad that you don't even think you need to work full time then why are you insisting on alimony... Already getting a fully paid house... Bitch I ain't paying for everything anymore .. I'll pay the lowest I can get away with from what courts decide at this point.

Like I will barely be able to make ends meet and she thinks she's gonna collect alimony and not even work full time? She doesn't think I want time off with kdis too? Solipsism. Mediator even had to explain to her that if your wealthy family isn't paying for that private school for both kids you can't expect your husband can afford to cover one of them and you cover the other.

And this is why things are the way they are. I mean I knew this stuff 5 years ago, Harvard is atleast a decade behind on this. My only reaction to this is "no shit".

The expectations from women are basically 0 in the modern world, but the expecations of men have stayed the same from the old days, infact has increased for the incompetence of women. I hope we get true equality, whether that mean women get more responsibility once again (unlikely), or that men lose responsibility in terms of relationships.

Men dont owe this misandrist society anything. Its time to bring expectations down.
