Pendulums swing. It's his life. He had issues. He dealt with them. And ultimately, he made an informed choice, whereas 99% of BP's don't choose. The Game was a fantastic read. I especially loved all the Courtney Love anecdotes. Mystery was far less impressive. The takeaway here is all the mentions of mental illnesses that he was diagnosed with and decided to deal with like a man. I'm not so sure Mystery did. So, on balance, do I respect Strauss less for his pivot? Nah. I respect him more for radically experimenting and going balls to the walls and in this journey, got to know himself better.

One thing that made me suspicious in The Game was how everyone else was made to look like a complete mess except for the author. RSD Tyler in particular.
