When I finally decided to walk away from the relationship thing, it wasn't, "because women aren't right for me," it was, "I'm not built for the long term relationship with a woman" thing. I thought about the whole, "just sleep with women casually," thing and that doesn't make sense. Did plenty of that in my early 20s. Cheap thrills and the constant lying and bullshit isn't conducive to a happy life. The monk path is where it's at, but the struggle is lust, with is part of my monk journey, which I've been trying to understand, along with a lot of other things, for a little while now.

I just hate trying to explain it to people though. I would like to go full monk and get myself a little place somewhere remote and live off-grid with a couple of dogs and the greater universe, but I'm stuck in metropolis for now and it's full of, shall we say, temptations and distractions.
