I bike everywhere! I refuse to own a car. It's too much of a hassle. There's nothing like the wind in my face, staying fit (ripped abs and killer legs), and saving tons of money. Some people laugh that I bike everywhere but all I do is lift up my shirt and show how ripped I am. Lol, blue pills are everywhere and they can be so subtle.

I absolutely agree! ..If you take the time to find the exact right fit for you which can cost alot of money nowadays- Its worth every penny!

Its actual freedom!

No red light cameras. No 'E tests'. No licences/ no licence stickers. No speed traps. No cops. No parking fees ..No gas! No insurance!

Its unreal how freeing it it!

Plus after all that. ..its healthy! It's a gym membership- but with fresh air and speed!

Once a year I take a round trip ride from my home into the heart of Philadelphia and back. Most of it on the Schuykill River Trail. It starts out very remote and middle of nowhere and winds thorough through the outer burbs, through Valley Forge Park, down a boardwalk along the river in Manayunk, into the urban sprawl until you are at the Art Museum steps where the Rocky Statue is located, then turn around and head home. 100 miles round trip that takes about 10 hours if not pushing too hard with a couple stops figured in. One of the best random things I ever did.

Yeah I do bike every Sunday and it brings me back to my teenage years when some friends and I used to ride all fuckin’ day, with no final destination, just for fun. It’s a great damn hobby! Get a bike and enjoy the freedom 🚴‍♂️

Can confirm. I get great joy from riding my full suspension mountain bike and my bikepacking fat bike. This week I'm going to visit my sister where there are miles and miles of dirt roads around her house, and so I'm taking my fat bike for a couple hour ride.

Good for your knees as well. I tore a ligament in my knee and it has been weak ever since - only really started to feel good again when I was riding my bike regularly. Use to ride the bike 10kms to work each way for a 6 or so months, knee wouldn't have felt as good since I was in my teens. I should get the bike back out...

Get a decent road bike from a bike shop. I’m a novice and can regularly do 20 mph. It’s a world of difference in quality and it’s damn fun.

Yeah, have a bike too, made tubeless conversion on rear tyre, two months all GOOG, but then in the middle of the night tire just deflated. I think sealant is the problem.
