It does show how easily girls “fake” love and emotion. It’s all just manipulation. They fall out of love, because they were faking it the whole time to extract resources.

However she may define resources, even if it’s just validation, however she wants. Rent money. Someone to pay for meals. A branch before the swing.

That guy will hopefully someday realize what it took me years to. You CAN just 'fall out out love' with no real reason. You can't apply logic or critical thinking to it because it it literally just the hormones that used to give them that tingly feeling around you drying up and fading away. I've been on both ends of this phenomenon multiple times and when you're the one losing someone it feels completely heartbreaking because you don't know why it's happening and never will. And when you're the one who is leaving, you can be truly shocked at how the disconnection from a person you loved is such a long process in reality but feels like the blink of an eye when it finally finishes. All he can do is try to move on and realize that love isn't gonna last forever and just have fun while it does last or find a way to be happy alone like many do.
