I like your animations, the first set as well as this new one.

Only critique I would have is about your explanation of why women sometimes stay in a relationship past the point of mutual benefit, i.e. seemingly violating Briffault's Law. I agree with you it does happen, since just like hypergamy it only describes a behavioral tendency, not an inviolable rule.

However, I think you have to remember your title here. All relationships are transactional ... there is something we want. In other words, all relationships are ultimately about power, and thus entail some power dynamic. Being able to obtain commitment from a high-value male, for instance, is really a form of power for a woman. In the same way, even after a man has become sick or bed-ridden or whatever, there still may be power to be had from sticking around, at least a little longer. There are covert forms of social power for women in being seen as a caregiver. She can potentially expect sympathy or other rewards from her community for doing so.

In essence, she gains access to broader forms of social power thru engaging with a man in some circumstances even if that man himself has lost social standing for whatever reason. And in the end, if all relationships are about power, then the real "benefit" to either party is the power they gain from it, whether that be sexual access, resources, or social power. In short, Briffault's law and the "mutual benefits" it provides extend beyond the immmediate relationship itself.

Anyway, good video. Making these really makes some of the information more accessible. Keep it up.

Briffaults Law can also be expanded to all relationships between people. Consider ALL relationships between two individuals as economic in nature. If you choose to spend time with someone you must give and get something in return. Friendship and Family also follows these rules, albeit with a tab, instead of payment on delivery terms. If your friend starts bailing on you constantly and not returning friendship, eventually the tab will run out and you will break the friendship. If your brother does the same, steals from you, disrespects you, eventually your (longer) tab will reach it's limit, and you will "call in the tab" and disown him. Although it may be be possible to reopen the tab in the future if circumstances allow.

Meeting a stranger and want to make a good impression on them? give them something of value and but the trade balance in your favour. They will either reciprocate or cheat you.

It's really a good video,the problem by my point of view is that is too difficult to understand for who are not native english.Try to speak slowly and maybe put some subtitle (automatic subs suck).

I've also understood what has been said, but you could/should slow down your speech just a bit :)
