Can confirm. Loads of divorces going on. Even my niece with the "perfect" marriage (Nice house, 2 kids, new car and good income) got divorced 4 months ago. Because she did not have any "feelings" for him anymore and wanted to "discover" herself. (lol we know what that means right?)

1 month later while still processing the divorce she has a new guy in her life who dumped her after a month lol. She hasn't hit the wall yet to be fair. But we all know that won't take long.

The only good thing out of this if family ask why I am single and unwilling to marry. I have a example to show them how modern woman are.

Used to like some of their liberal views (e.g. used to have a low age of legal consent), but they start to seem crazy more and more. Saw an interesting article where the average height is markedly increasing over there, because of women's fixation on height.

Shows you what hamster-brains women are! Sure, in prehistoric times, height was an asset (for protection), but nowadays only good on the off chance you get into the NBA!

I like this new law though. Bringing it back from 12 to 5 years of alimony.
In that sense, Netherlands is one of the few countries where they are reversing the alimony laws to be less unfavourable towards men.

The welfare system for single mothers, is still really fucking bad in The Netherlands though. I even know an immigrant family, where the man didn't register the child as his and they life apart. Si that his wife can get all this single mother wellfare. While in reality they basically are a couple and life together.
