I learned to cook at the age of 10. I'm 34 now.

Those meatballs look neat, but a little dry. Next time try to cover them in some homemade salsa (tomato, onion, garlic, some spices). They are going to be 10X better.

I'll give you cooking's golden rule of 3. Vegs, carbs, proteins. Carbs can be toasted bread, rice, pastas, cheese, potatoes, proteins of your choice and vegs of your choice. My standard meals are like so :

Steamed vegs (Broccolis, aspartagus, peppers, I usually favor the frozen types)

Rice or cheese or potatoes (mashed, diced, scalloped)

Sausages/Seasoned chicken breast/piece of steak

Balanced, dead simple to make and delicious.

The majority of men I know in person cook their own food and do so quite well. The women i've known, can barely use a fucking microwave and a few of those can somehow manage to burn food even in that. The only women i've ever known that could cook were my 2 grandmothers (1 is dead) and my mother. Outside of that, it's just not a skill that women seem to care for and it is appalling. This is something everyone should know how to do simply for the sake of self reliance.
