tl;dr - my ex-fiance split with me after I called her out on her terrible behavior and immediately hopped on the nearest warm body.

Anyways, here comes the latest developments. She bailed nine-months ago and since then I've been doing damn well. Very happy, nice and content with my pup. He and I go everywhere together now, we've taken a few road trips, planning another one, I'm just doing whatever I want when I want and it's awesome.

So the other day I got a text from a number I didn't recognize. It was her therapist telling me my ex had an "update she wanted to share with me." Naturally I LOL'd and about deleted the text, but then I realized "wow this is 9 months later, please don't let the update be that she was pregnant." So I reluctantly talk to her therapist and they tell me that no, she didn't have a kid - but instead that my ex has "realized she messed up and she regrets it, and wants to repair things." I didn't even respond anymore beyond that message. I have zero interest in her being any part of my life anymore.

It just goes to show you how predictable these people are. I've been doing lots of reading since we split up and she fits the criteria of NPD to the fucking letter. It's freaky how pathological it is.
