Oh they're hiding it alright. They're using every trick in the book to hide it. Even when it's obvious and in plain sight, they will attach caveats and invent meely-mouthed terms for it like "economically-attractive," instead of calling it what it is.

But if you ever doubt, gentlemen, of the basic immorality of hypergamy, all you need to do is to observe how women constantly try to obfuscate whenever they talk about the men in their lives.

The rich financier is never rich to these women. She's with him for his "sense of humor" and "moral character." She's not with the tech entrepreneur for the wealth. She's with him because of his "boyish charm" or his "brilliant mind." The woman is dating the elite surgeon because of his "compassion" and because he is "good in bed," not because he lives in a gated estate with the Ferrari in the driveway.

They hide the truth...they hide constantly about this because it is so shameful. And the clearest evidence of this is how often they go into the whole "I have been living a lie to myself all along about him" spiel the moment she finds herself unhappy, which is yet another cover up for the truth of things.

For it was never the fact that she lied to herself that she finds herself upset. It was that she lied to everyone else concerning the basis of her attraction.

Worth noting though is that the primary reason why men once became "economically attractive" is so that he could subsidize a wife and 8-12 additional children. Since even most of the tradcucks know those are liabilities and not assets and being wealthy or even rich is all about pursuing assets and avoiding liabilities what you see is a lot of highly intelligent and competent men self throttle because they still have enough for all their wants and needs and a nice surplus besides.
