I so much hate these situations. While letting her go without batting an eye is of course a better call than trying to force limitations, when you first get into this situation yourself you'll do the same thing as this guy did. The winning move is of course going out yourself and hitting on women, but that might not be logistically possible, it's not always a viable answer in the instant - and then again if you just go out and fuck somebody else every time your GF does something similar what's the point of having the GF?

Look, the whole situation is average and happens to everybody. Your girl sooner or later will try to see if she can keep side dicks. It happened to me as well, sent me into nuclear breakdown, I knew the moment she popped the question of going out without me really meant she wants to look for side dick / upgrade. Hardest breakup of my life.

I also suggest not to shit talk the other party and refrain yourself from terms like "cuck" and "beta". You are 18, you'll be on the other end of the cheating, don't worry.
