Is nightclubs a scam?

I was a minority partner in a nightclub in my early years and it's definitely a scam. We would spend hours a week on the phone calling up the hot women we knew telling them they "won a party!" for their friends with 2 free drinks Friday before 10pm.

Get 20 hot girls in and we were assured that 200 loser dudes would show up and take care of our numbers.

I never picked up women in bars because they're low quality women. I've been dating for 3 decades almost, and never have had the dating drama that revolves around women who get drunk for attention.

If you want to pull tail in the bar scene, work in it. Be a barback, bouncer, bartender, manager, etc. You'll have endless tail every night by last call.

Spending money in a bar when you're young adds up quickly, and then you're 35 with no money and no real game.

Haha, you just realized this now? I remember being invited with a group of guys to go hit up a fancy club many years ago, we get to the entrance and some gorilla bouncer says "50 bucks". I'm like 50 bucks for what? Entrance. I laughed so fucking loud and walked away; i got some nasty looks and pity looks from people that were on the line but, I was like fuck that noise.

Do you know how many tacos you can get for 50 bucks back then. Shit; fuck that noise

I'm in eastern Europe and nightclubs are scam here as well. Girls don't come to meet anyone, but just to feed their ego by rejecting guys, and to take photos for their Instagram and Facebook in order get more validation. Scrolling my Facebook feed during the Friday night makes me puke. Also clubs stay open until 5 - 6 am, since nobody is hooking up, everyone is standing at their table and sipping one expensive drink all night. Music is loud and not my taste.

The most annoying thing about any nightclub is their Facebook page. It is flooded with photos of hot girls, so you get an impression that gender ratio is at least 80% girls, but reality is maybe 40% girls at best. They do it because they want to lure guys who think they might have a chance with some of those girls, and as a proof to girls that the place is safe. Bottle service is a rip off, but that's well known.

Overall, nightclubs are scams everywhere on the planet, so better invest that money wiser.

IT's all bullshit. You either win or you don't. There's many different gradients of pub/club/venue that you can work. Find what works for you and fuck the rest. Clubs do tend to be the most scammy and cunty brash environments. Also nobody is really pressuring you to buy drinks. I've never bought a drink for a girl in my life that I was interested in that I dont know and even then it's rounds.

If they pull out the I'm traditional BS, they've already lost respect for you and your approach and demeanour needs tuning. They've bought me more albeit when they were drunk. Buying rounds and drinks too easily leans to people hearing "look at me I need approval you can take advantage of me". Letting them get that initial impression of you is a death sentence and it may get you 5 minutes of attention but it'll be of poor quality.

I have noticed that while my success-rate in these places are abysmal it drastic improved by just going to normal bar, bodegas, pubs and coffee places.

I have noticed this so much and it's why I'm not really crazy about bars. Clubs are so overhyped. I have had much more success at normal bars, dive bars and all that, over going to clubs. Also, bars will usually be cheaper and you won't have to deal with as many assholes.

Another problem is the alpha mentality that happens in these clubs.

As mentioned many clubs a 2/3 ratio of women as standard, if not the testosterone takes over. In some cases it means increased revenue in form of buying more booze to win over a competitor, but in many cases it ends with violence.

Although rarely mentioned the mix of ethnicity is always something high profitable night clubs checks. As in chemicals, an unbalance will create a reaction. In North Europe the bouncers often stops people with Arabic background and does not let them in. Since this is against the law they often use these excuses:

Wrong dress-code, (often shoes since they can not just take them off and they can make marks on the floor. This is always used if the person is not wearing nice dress shoes.)
Wrongly say its a private party. (Not used as much anymore since its easy to prove otherwise for anti-discrimination groups=
Too many in the group. (Often relevant since few people go alone)

Now, the reason why they do not let them into the clubs is often not prejudice, but since many are Muslims they do not drink alcohol, and in many cases women feel uncomfortable when they are too many. There are tons of other rules also and in some cases they will throw you because you sit a non reserved table without actually buying enough. They never use this excuse though and rather use something else for excuse.

And the distrust. Distrust everywhere. Stand in line for 30 minutes while the bartender flirt with the big chested woman, and he is prob. the only one working. In one case i read about a bar in NY that actually lowered the ground behind the bar for the female big titted bartenders. Hand in the coat at a 5 dollars coat wardrobe.

Call me crazy but I actually like EDM so I go to clubs for fun, and whenever I pick up girls it's usually when I step outside for a cigarette break.Yeah the men to women ratio is pathetic but most guys there are pathetic, I rarely see more than 10 decent guys and most of the women there are pretty alright.

Nightclubs are a scam. Some are not usually they do not require a (or a not so tough) dress code, have none to just a couple of ones admission fee and very reasonable prices. Most of the time you wont be able to pull in there because people are comming in groups to get shit faced for some personal reasons like finishing college and the like.

The other ones optimize their return rate by catering to hot chicks to pull suckers in and get a minimum return of investment from everybody by having admission fees that break the bank.

I used to nightclub religiously, I'm talking 52times a year at minimum. I did this from the time I was eighteen to about 20. Then again during my 23-24th year.

Nightclubs are only a scam if you let yourself get played. The guys that get frustrated are the ones that don't really 'get it' and day game or dating might be a better avenue for you.

In my case, nightclubs were a way to network, get pussy, and have a good time. I would never have met so many hot women at such a rapid pace anywhere but in a nightclub. It's also an amazing practice-ring for getting instant make outs and earning respect based on your level of game.

Maybe it's not your thing, there's always got be some. But it's definitely not a scam for those of us that make it work.

Of course they're sexuality driven marketing. Not certain if they're a scam though.

Anyone remotely associated with the business likely knows that there's a certain set of numbers you call to get girls to show up especially for VIPs. Additionally almost every major special or deal needs to be geared towards saturating the room with pussy, because pussy sells. The guys will throw down for a chance at it and the girls will often spend some cash while there too.

So yes, it's purely marketing sex, mixed with depending on the venue, a certain aesthetic for your market.

Source: friend owns a nightclub and just bought a dive bar. Most of my parties I hold there. Kinda have gotten to know the ins and outs cause at share notes. (We're also partners in my own business so we talk about industry differences a lot)

you guys are doing it wrong. i always have a good time at clubs. the key is to have a group of hot girls with you. maybe a few cool bros, but always try to have more females than males.

there are almost never any hassles at the door unless one of your bros is a total dumbass and is wearing shorts and tennis something like that. usually no cover charge at all or maybe something minimal like $10 after midnight.

the girls can just walk up to the bar and get free drinks on demand from all the horny beta dudes. and if i get thirsty i can tell one of the girls with me to ask a dude to buy me a drink too and these dumb betas will do it because they want show off their money lol.

then go have fun dancing and enjoying the music and people watching. if your group is having a good time other hot girls and cool guys in the club will want to join up with you because they want to have fun too.

obviously you'll have dudes circling like vultures. the girls generally can take care of themselves and most of the awkward weird dudes will just stand around the edges of your group and creeper stare at the girls and never attempt to approach.

then later you just hookup with these random girls you met at the club or one the girls from your social circle.

nightclubs are the training wheels of game.

it teaches you to be who you have to be vs who you want to be (getting over yourself is an important skill)

it teaches you to work with groups. people have friends, you need to befriend them as well, if for no other purpose than to know more about your target.

it teaches you to handle other peoples bullshit. not put up with it but to curb that shit right out.

it teaches you to flirt and neg. in day game, these are parts you add in towards the end as a kino test.

day game is much harder and your odds of getting women are less, night game in general is easier.

night game is lenient on the socially retarded as long as they follow a script. day game, not so much. the socially retarded have low odds as is. day game would only keep them in there shell.

in the end, night game is training wheels.Most blue pillers are coming from nothing, night clubs are pretty much "we're here to dance and fuck" blue pillers tend to think "fuck = love" since its so high on the pedestal. the nightclub will get them over themselves so they can find something real and not just be someones bitch.

I go to nightclubs because I love them, I love everything about them, I enjoy the music the drinks the smoke the lights, the least I care in a club are the girls, Im there to dance and drink, if I pick a girl better, but I dont care too much. If you dont enjoy it, do something else.
