The first man to give flowers to women probably got laid like crazy. BACK THEN, it was not needy, not overt, and not creepy. The cave man probably just saw something pretty on the ground and gave it to a cave woman he liked. She probably thought, "What is this? It's so pretty! He must like me!"
Fast forward many centuries, that gesture is now HELLA out of date. Now its just so overused and not surprising that it comes off as a lame and unoriginal. So what's the new flower giving gesture? With all this new technology, surely we can find something fun and original! Even though the first thing that comes to mind is something ONLINE, like a snapchat snap or an Amazon delivery, I believe gestures are most powerful when it is tangible (concrete).
Romantic gestures are often frowned upon here because it links with trying too hard. However, an ideal TRP man has passions in life and hobbies in his spare time. When you add a little romance and creativity with your hobby, you get the perfect gesture. For instance, I'm a marketing consultant, so perhaps to practice my craft, I can create an advertisement for this girl I'm hitting up. The headline is coming to me right now: "Introducing the new HB7.1! Now in Single and Ready-to-Mingle mode, and twice as much sass!"
I'm having fun just thinking about it. And at the end of the day, it's about you and your enjoyment out of doing the things you love. No need to put on a limiting belief that you cannot do nice things for anyone. You can. Just make sure it benefits you just as much! Do it in your own way. What you end up getting out of it is a gesture filled of your own flavor, your own spices. And what the beneficiary gets is an experience unique to just you and her.
