The genuine confusion in your statement. Man, you have my empathy. You invested too much in a depreciating asset and thats why it happened, to say shortly.

First of all, women are hardwired to care about self interests over others (no matter how harsh the situation is for the other one) and will go to any extent for that. A woman will fall back to her default instincts/behaviors if that helps to fulfill her narrative. Its that simple.

The thing is : expecting qualities like morality, empathy, decency etc from women is actually a mistake that guys do, and that mistake is why they either end up in a cemetery, or dwelling in drugs and alcohol or in places like this subreddit, like you did.

Now, for those who are thinking "But Women are people!!! People feel empathy! You misommistic (add some other salty cliche lines)"

Its not that simple, specially when we are talking about female nature. Things like empathy and decency in a woman is possible, but, if and only if it is beneficial for her narrative at that particular situation at that particular time.

As for the "what about mothers" argument, sure, for their children and pets, (and even that's becoming less often), but never for a male. At best it's pity, at the least its chameleoning.

In short, qualities like empathy, decency etc are directly proportional to how they connect with what she is feeling at that particular situation. Its not about being emotionless, its about how that emotion benefits her narrative.

In short, Depends on the day, and how's the "fee-fee" is about it.

Did you make her happy by giving her the tingles one day? Sure she'll feel for you (that day).

Or did you seem a giant beta in her eyes and completely turn her off, and now she's out fucking your best friend or breaking up on mobile apps instead of doing it in person? Nah, she won't feel a thing about it.

women at their best are very good at predicting how another women will feel about a particular situation. At best, she will feel for her fellow women only.

Also, women are emotionally affected more easily when their own emotions get hurt in a particular situation, so they are more likely to visibly react to that, but only because its her narrative that was challenged.

As far as really trying to understand another person and leave yourself somewhat to do it and have deep feelings, that's more a male thing, as we all have noticed in our lives to a certain degree.

As I learned from an experienced man one day :

Women cannot truly empathize with men because they can't feel the same feelings. Men are better at it because we are better at abstractly understanding things, specially when its about another man or woman.

When she said she loved you, that was just an illusion, a carrot to keep the workhorse going. The moment she didn't get the tingles and it stopped validating her fee-fee, she jumped ship.
