“Maybe even hook up” won’t be convincing enough for many here. But in general yes, having cool friends and being in social environments that aren’t explicitly coded as a meat market (but still allow you to meet new women) is a good way to go, especially if you can host these environments. Problem is:

1) many of the guys who have trouble w/ relationships also have trouble w/ truly close friendships and being likeable in general

2) many guys esp. on Internet spaces don’t seem to enjoy group socialization in and of itself and need a GUARANTEE of getting laid, or close, in order to be motivated to partake

3) if you aren’t massaging the demographics then your social scene that you’re using to meet girls will inevitably devolve into a boring sausage-fest, as other guys get the same idea

4) many guys are 40-year-old divorcee boomers so obviously they aren’t in social environments where they are meeting hot young girls regularly (if that’s their target)

So this works, but not for the guys who need it the most, and it probably won’t work forever.

Your social circle increased and hence you are meeting more girls who are connected to people in your social circle.

It makes sense: you have a party and your boys invite people they know which includes girls and those girls invite their girlfriends. When it’s part of a social group, unlike Tinder, those girls will be more relaxed and open to meeting guys who are friends of their friends etc.

This really is a good way to date women, as you can see.

How do you get a bigger social circle?

I'm ok with socializing but most of my friends don't throw parties or anything like that. Can I just find new friends?
