Marriage harms women? What?!! Women totally benefit. They get a free house, they don't have to work, they get free board. Their husband will pay all medical expenses, take them on vacations, fucking bend over backwards for them.

Men pay, women benefit. Then after the marriage because she divorced him, she KEEPS the house, keeps the kid, keeps his monthly pay check (alimony, child support, et cetera).

Men pay, and then they continue to pay for decades after the fact.

The only benefit ever from marriage was the ability to pass on a fathers name. That is literally it. Legacy. Now that its off the table, there are no benefits. If a man gets married to some b and has kids with her (if she was faithful) they are HIS kids, not hers. The agreement was I provide food, housing, warmth, protection, etc. In return you be the baby machine, until the kid(s) is/are old enough to pretty much walk and talk on their own. Then they are my kids, my responsibility to educate and protect them. Wife fucks off back to her mothers house or w/e or on to the next schmuck.
