I got out of the Navy almost 2 years ago. I did t want to get out, but I got fucked and it was my best option rather than do a job i would hate.

Three weeks home and I was miserable. I had wished i had stayed in for my career, retired, get a dog when I got out and get a house.

Then i thought "Wait a minute"

I had promised i would get a dog when I got out. Well im out. So I'm getting a dog.

That weekend my baby girl Carol-Ann, the Wolfdog, became part of my family.

yep. but a woman has never adequately filled that void. having a group (or a few groups) of quality friendly acquaintances as well as pets has indeed made my life rich throughout the years. however, due to high speed internet people don't get out and socialize much which is a bummer.

When you feel lonely man stop and look around at your life, everything is yours ! No splitting, no nagging, no emotional test you have tp pass, you can go anywhere and do anything you want without checking in or explaining to anyone, no lies, no backstabbing etc.

I don't know if you've been in a relationship or married but I can guarantee you all of that is what "relationships/marriage" brings. I did it for 19yrs and those where the loneliest years of my life.

Find solice and content in yourself and what you want. Society conditions a version of loneliness and it's supposed link to depression because society doesn't want you to feel complete being with just yourself, all that means is there isn't money to be made ie. Dinners, rings, trumped up romantic gifts, houses etc.

Yes and no, I need my alone time, I enjoy my alone time, but I do enjoy a attractive woman’s company sometimes, especially if she’s giving me sex. I think my personality is more suited to having a fuck buddy/FWB rather than a serious long term relationship. With A FWB you get the best of both worlds, sex and some social life and alone time/freedom.

Both antisocial and asocial, so it helps. Only value my own company and always has. If you rely on other people for validation and feed back you have to get out of that first. You need a purpose to pursue, it can be whatever you'd like. I pursue knowledge, truth, experiences and self development, that is what gives me a sense of purpose. You are still in the freedom from, stage which makes it harder since you crave the company still, you need to get to the freedom to (to pursue something else).

I think misanthropic men tend to gratvitate towards MGTOW naturally, along with introverted men, men who “need their personal space”, Etc.

Most of the men here I’ve noticed are engineers, which is both interesting and outright awesome.

What better way to kill a society faster than by withdrawing those who build and maintain its infrastructure and systems?

I have gone my own way a year ago, approximately. The first couple of months were difficult, even because I wanted to stay a monk but had quite some nice women gravitating around me once they had come to know I was single. Nowadays I feel good with myself and in company of my friends. I miss women, though. Not having romantic relationships, but having a nice laugh with the few intelligent, smart women I know. I tend to avoid going out with them for the exact reason I mentioned before: they see me as a prey to fuck at their convenience, even though they are married or in relationships. I met up with one of them last weekend, we had fun together, spend the night out and slept in the same bed (no sex, really sleeping). A few days ago she said she regretted what we have done and especially what we have not done (i.e., fucking) and I have to stop contacting her forever. This showed me that, even if you want to be social, eventually you end up alone. So why not embrace loneliness voluntarily and get the best out of it?

I've made up for my lack of female relationships by spending more time with other male friends and family members. Those relationships ( with the right men) leave me feeling better than relationships with women do over time .

I don't get lonely for someone to share my life with. Bringing someone into my life would actually make me less happy. But I still enjoy interacting with quality people. The quality part is important though.

For me, its not so much loneliness as it is boredom occasionally. In fact, i do almost everything on my own and enjoy that. If i have to run errands, i just load up some podcasts, lectures etc. I love coming home to my house - its quiet, i have everything i need in it. However, occasionally on a weekend, it would be nice to have some company to do something with. Hit a pub, etc. Unfortunately the friends i've made in this town are all raising their own children, or financial unable to really do anything because they pay an ex, or got loaded up with debt.

Also, I'm not sure if im really MGTOW or not, because occasionally i'll date someone. But its something i can completely understand. As far as a relationship, it typically ends not too long after when they see im deadly serious about not marrying, having children, or interested in living with someone. If she has her own place, respects my free time, i have no problem with it. I wont get invested again in a serious way. No thanks!

honestly... not really lol. When I was a younger mgtow, maybe. but after year 4 you just see how nice it truly is to not have to worry about women at all. I was kinda on the way to living my early life just to make myself a "better man" for a woman someday, which is some pathetic shit lmao. So it's nice to be all the way past that and on to living for what truly makes me happy and satisfied in the moment. I have some cool ass coworkers and a big family to go home to when I visit so I don't get lonely.

Listen to women talk to other women sometime. It's pretty obvious they never liked men. Ever notice how commercials selling products to women bash men? (Assuming the commercial even has a man, usually it's a group of women selling to women)

Its not as if you can somehow get love from them, they simply don't have it. If you enjoy really feeling lonely, you should get a girlfriend.

But I remind you this is the same world that tells you an inexperienced pilot could not only find the Pentagon in a passenger jet without radar or ground support to direct them in, but could actually fly such a jet at several hundred miles per hour at tree top level to hit such a building.

The world is full of shit, the messages it gives you will never work. The world is full of unhappily married men who's wives don't even know them.

People believe the lie because they have a lot of faith in it. If you point out the obvious truths, they won't see it. Our need to believe the government is here to keep us safe or that a womans love can make us happy is too strong for most people to let go of. This faith makes utter bullshit seem plausible, and people will kling to any "evidence" they can to validate it, such as mythical happy couples or 10 seconds of video footage of a plane hitting an unrelated building as "proof" their illusions are real.

You escape loneliness by accessing the same source of Love we all have access to. There is no "gate keeper". No one can give it to you, or prevent you from experiencing it. Love simply is not of this world. (And what I just said applies to both men and women. It's a universal thing)

I felt lonely in my last relationship. So being alone and feeling lonely is less of a pain. If I feel lonely I do go out eating, or having a walk. Exercise, read or do something else I like doing.

Monk mode for over 10 years, still don't miss women. Find a hobby, have xbox one x, will play. Go on vacations every-year, have passport, will travel. Never married, no kids, and a happy life. If I want to learn something new, I learn it. I live below my means, and invest at least 25% of my income, hopefully I will get to retire early.
