I work as an auto mechanic. Boss decided to hire a girl to work in the shop as an installer. It was pathetic. We had to do all her heavy lifting. She was scaree of the mahinery amd racking trucks. She did 80% less work than the other installere. And got paid the same. After 3 weeks she complained that her back hurt all the time amd quit with no notice lol.

I'm doing my best to automate their jobs. l have automated 80% of one woman's job (she left to join another company and they haven't replaced her), and have started working on "helping" the women who have picked up the remaining 20%.

I think I can eliminate another woman's job in 2019.
There is a guy on the team, and he knows a lot about the systems they use and the reasons why they do certain things in the fashion they do. When I ask the women in the team, they say they do not know and to wait for the guy to return from lunch or from holidays.

Women are lazy. That’s it. They make less money because they’re entitled and lazy.

You can’t expect someone who has had their entire life catered to and patted on the head to understand things like hard work and taking advantage of opportunities.

And that’s just in their own, as a parasite class their expenses drop to zero. She just needs a sucker to pay for everything.

The real wage gap is me covering her work while she's out on maternity leave. I'm not paid extra, her salary, or even given a simple thank you while she's out of the office having another kid. See it all the time. Lots of times, she doesn't even come back to work. And if she does, she's pregnant again in a few months. Everyone is all happy for her. Congratulations! Two people got fucked. She got knocked up, and I'm screwed again.

First time in my life I’m working in a majority (85%) female environment. I was actually shocked by how much time they waste on personal chitchat & personal business.

The place sounds like a combination of a cocktail party where everyone is 4 martinis in, and a high school cafeteria at lunch time.

The current earnings gap is entirely due to women being on the job fewer hours over a career but it ought to be even larger to account for their lower productivity.

im manager and nerly all under me are woman ... and they are so slow etc so i use the man for the important jobs etc

sad that im not the one that hires ... we could kick 90% of the woman out and hirehalf the man and workt would be done way faster.

but hey better take the low wage jobbing moms even if half the man could do a better job but we have to pay them more :/

im only happy that i make work plans and can actually use the good workers i have for important stuff.

These small men-run tech content companies can charge $10k-$20k per job because the women marketers have no where else to go. Friend of mine is an electrician working for a good sized electrical contractor. Around 2 years ago they hired their first female electrician...a recent graduate from an apprenticeship program...single mom...apprenticeship program was free...within 2 weeks half the guys in the shop (including my friend) had her nudes on his phone.

It's not a wage gap it's an EARNINGs gap, and women EARN less because they choose different career paths than men, they work less dangerous jobs, they work less hours, work less over-time, and take more time off, maternity leave etc.

Women do get paid the same wage as men for the same job/hours/experience, and to do otherwise has been illegal since the Equal pay act of 1963. But we all know, that usually these women who get paid "equally" for the "same job" don't contribute nearly as much as the men, they usually sit on their asses with their phones or flirt with their managers all day while the men do all the "heavy lifting", literally and metaphorically. Then the men who are actually doing the real work get passed over for promotion due to "diversity quotas" and because they aren't sucking their managers dicks(or pretending like they might).

It is not a wage gap but rather a competence gap. Women are not as competent as men, therefore they get paid less, simple as that.
