I felt the need to make this thread because sometimes, the misogyny on this subreddit is nauseating.

Natural selection dictates that both sexes find the fittest, healthiest mates possible in order to propagate the species. "Sexual strategy is amoral" is an accurate, oft-repeated phrase here.

However, if hypergamy exists in its purest state, society is in constant disarray. For example, if you have a tribe of 100 men & 100 women, and 20% of the men (possibly fewer) are getting laid, 80+ men will potentially threaten the functioning of society. Sure, some men will accept being MGTOW and continue making societal contributions, but a good portion of the incels will either supplant the alphas (most likely violently) or die trying, thus leaving society in a never-ending state of chaos.

With this being the case, some of the Top 20% will eventually conclude, "If we want the luxuries of civilization, we're going to need as many men as possible to work & contribute. So we should both enforce monogamy and never reveal how the Sexual Marketplace truly works. By leaving both men and women in the dark about the realities of the Sexual Marketplace, they'll both think that they can win over highly valuable mates without being of any value in return. It'd be even better if these demoralized men shack up with incompatible/substandard women out of desperation & impregnate them, because men with familial responsibilities are more likely to be obedient workers."

It's pretty clear how this screws over women. Women are left to choose between men who are smart enough to operate society's machinery, but too overworked and/or propagandized to offer them what they truly want. The media drills into their heads that a wealthy knight in shining armor will eventually come charging into their lives, so they waste their peak SMV years riding the CC.

Feminism and TRP are both logical responses to the failure of our socially engineered society to give both sexes what they truly want.

TL;DR: In order to have the benefits of civilization, social engineering must be applied. This deludes both men and women into thinking that they'll get highly valuable mates by merely existing. The bitter truth as to how the Sexual Marketplace works is the reason why some TRP'ers and feminists are so raucous & over-the-top.
