At the company I work for they tell us that if we know CPR and someone needs resuscitated, we have every right to refuse to resuscitate that person because they can sue us for saving their life. CPR breaks ribs and can puncture lungs. Some people also can't give permission to be saved so in turn can create lawsuits. It's kind of scary but I'd rather not be sued for doing the right thing

You're theoretically protected by good samaritan law. From federal and civil court. Theyll try to fight it anyway, and make a big mess 50/50 whether they win or not.

I helped a woman once. Not CPR, but she fell while going up a staircase. I couldn't ask her 'permission', to prevent her from falling and hitting possibly her head, I grabbed her. But the closest thing was her blouse (by her chest). She was outraged that I touched her, and couldn't care less that I may have prevented a brain injury/death. 10 years later, I refused to help a woman who fell in the rain while I was stopped at a crosswalk. She crawled to the edge of the road (probably sprained/broke an ankle so she couldn't walk). I would do the same again. I've had threats of false accusations against me although they didn't follow through. And that made me ask friends. 4/15 had threats of false allegations against them. Never again. In Canada I'm under no legal obligation to help and I won't help a woman, only men.

and people are writing articles like that about "needing to talk about him touching her". watch the video. it's literally a person non sexually blocking and pushing aside this worker. maybe a dick move but in no way sexual.... but now if you even touch a woman on camera you are subject to sexual assault. think about that.

Every instinct I possess tells me to help people whenever possible in these kinds of dire circumstances. It's only because I've been conditioned to see them as a threat now - courtesy of Big Institutional Feminism - that I retreat and distance myself from the situation as quickly and quietly as possible.

The hard part for me is that if it were a woman I cared about (they do exist for me) or had a personal relationship with (sister, etc.), I'd hope that someone would intervene and save their life (and if I were present, I would, for such a person). But more importantly, I would also fully understand and sympathize with any man who declined to get involved.

This is the world we've been handed by feminism. Painful for everyone.

I can't find the news story but a man was sued by a 15 year old girl's family when he performed CPR and saved her life. They claimed he sexually assaulted her because his hands were on her breast. If someone finds it, please link it here.
