I'd say the shooter has a lot psychologically and ideologically in common with ISIS recruits.

This was a politically motivated attack by a coward who couldn't face an enemy head on so he decided to mow them down randomly and off himself to avoid the consequences of his actions.

In his head, before it painted the wall, perhaps he was proud of himself for finally making an impact on the world. I guess that lines up with your theory.

Personally I think this is what happens when you bombard mentally deranged individuals with hate and brainwashing rhetoric 24/7 like the lives of most normies. Eventually they get ideas of grandeur.

You are on the right track. But I think it happens earlier in life.

Men who get divorced and then are deprived of all contact with their children, those are the ones full of rage, and with nothing left to lose.

I think the childless old men have already learned to adapt and either enjoy life, or just suffer helplessly.

Personally though, I could never imagine having a desire to kill masses of innocent people no matter how shitty and down in the dumps my life is. But this guy was a pretty active gambler so I'm guessing he wasn't the best decision maker.

This had occurred to me as well. It's fine for TRP to be all enlightened and avoid marriage for plates. But the top tier men and women are getting married, mostly to each other, and having families and passing wealth down. This is one reason the classes don't change much. Just saying.
