I remember the first time this was posted. Made a post on it on TRP. All the comments were saying she left him cause she got better and he remained a loser which, while true, does not excuse female hypergamy. Females are wicked with no sense of loyalty. I remember reading about a man who donated a kidney to his wife and she left him a couple years later because he "changed." SMFH

I had an ex-fiancee who lost the weight and started cheating on me. I also know several guys whose partners/wives have split with them after shedding the pounds. One of them even said to her husband that she wanted a divorce as she 'could do better than him' now that she was in shape. Cruel and then some.

Happens all the time, unfortunately. It's all but beaten completely to death on this subreddit but you always have to remember:

She's not yours, it's just your turn.
She is only a woman, nothing more and nothing less.
She is only with you until a better deal comes along or she gets bored.
She does not love you or any man, she only wants what you can provide.
She has no loyalty and love to her isn't all you have done, it's what have you done for her lately

The majority of couples break up when one of the partners goes to college though. Our society has transitioned into most relationships being casual at best, and not geared toward marrying your first true love. I know guys that broke up with their girls and found better, and vice versa. It's just not realistic to expect to stay with your high school sweetheart anymore, especially if you live in blue state. In addition to that many people are starting to feel the same way about marriage.
