I'm in my senior year of High School and as is tradition here in the U.S we have a senior prom every year. It is commonplace to bring a date of the opposite gender to this dance and this usually leads to relationships, but it is considered taboo and almost "illegal" of sorts to not have a date because you are viewed as lame. Through MGTOW and my own journey I realized that I don't need a date to prom to have a good experience or make memories, simply going with friends is enough to make it a memorable day. I realized in general that getting a gf won't solve any of my problems and as such I stopped chasing girls, it is better to focus on myself for now and worry about sex and other things later.
