They had the freedom to leave the house, but if they got caught they were punished.

And they did leave and they did cheat. Many were caught and killed because they tried to get away with it...but many were obviously never caught.

They didn't have cameras watching these women 24/7 and nobody had the time to stalk every women in the town 24/7 (men had to go off and work harsh jobs).

Remember that men had to go do things to provide, that tons of men are thirsty simps willing to do anything for pussy and there were women who were punished because there husband later found out that he married a non-virgin or she eventually got caught cheating.

Was it harder the now? Yes, but definitely not impossible. She had to actively plan things out with the Chad and had reduced options (cousins, milk men, neighbors, etc).

If we restricted these women now under the old school rules and used modern technology to keep track of them. Then they wouldn't even have the freedom to cheat due to all the surveillance we could do.

But back then? They just had to wait for the right moment.

Well, in full disclosure, i am a Christian.

But I also consider myself the biggest sinner I know (bible term yes :-) ).

Truely without Christ in my life you would not want to know me, be around me, talk to me or have your family around me, this I believe.

But here we are.

But back to logic, isn't it amazing that God chose a fantastic story (foolishness to most people) to convince you of His presence?

I mean, why didn't he choose something more convincing? Just amazing.

But like I said, i am uneducated by the worlds standards so take it or leave it.

I found a reference to this in the bible.

20Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age?
