Just watched burn out on Netflix. Decent movie. Felt bad for the main character though. Plot is essentially: woman gets in trouble, man gives up his dream and almost dies to get her out of trouble.

So one of the movies I found lately that actually had a strong independent woman as the lead (alita battle angel) I found super entertaining. It wasn’t preachy or cringe trying to send some message and it wasn’t forced. So I hate when People are like “men are just sexist and blah blah blah” NO! Just make a good damn movie and people will watch it and likely leave a good review even if only by word of mouth. People don’t like being preached to. People do however like good movies generally speaking regardless of wether it’s a white/black/Asian/man/woman/dog/cat/whatever. If it’s entertaining and worthwhile the people will watch it.
