hi, i work in entertainment. not in America but in my country of 100+ million people, i work with the top level celebs. now these are two totally different countries (i live in asia) but i bet you i can make some inference as to what is going on.
so this is my hypothesis. the entertainment industry is basically mostly run by gay men. this varies by which sector of the industry you are in, but i'd say most jobs and crews and teams i work with, about 50-90% of the people are gay. a movie set with heavy shit and big lights, will have some straight men, whereas a commercial for a beauty product with a model or skin cream will be run by many men, but they'll all be gay. in ALL jobs though within that sector, you see most of the power and most important people behind the scenes are gay men.
now, i have no issues with men being homosexuals. i'm not making any judgement about that, but the industry wasn't always that high level of gay, whereas now its a huge majority. and I simply think they are more open to feminine stories. plus in some way i've always felt many of the gay men in entertainment industry kind of have that ultimate red pill, like because they have no sexual desire for women they see just how nuts they are and use them almost like a pimp. they see the huge market for them now and know they can sell a piece of shit wrapped in a ribbon and women will buy it, whereas men have always been stingy consumers and are probably even worse now with all the comparative info and reviews we can get online.
but yeah, straight men values simply are not represented because so few straight men have anything to do with any level of the entertainment industry. most of the straight men have jobs like me, that are highly technical. all the jobs of green lighting shows and show ideas and casting, etc, this is done mostly by gay men and women. again, i'm not judging, but when you really work behind the scenes, you see why so few accurate stories and representations of straight men are in the media for the past 25 years. i'm sure hollywood is very similar.

I won't even go see Endgame in theaters because I'm afraid of how they will end it.
I am thinking of boycotting Marvel in general. I didn't go see Captain Marvel this weekend -- and I think I will never pay to see it. I'm tired of the Marvel formula and especially now that they are branching into SJW stuff just like their comics a few years ago.
Fuck it. I'm boycotting End Game. Saving the time and $$$. Between Shazaam, and other movies; I'm good. MGTOW is the tip of the spear. What we do/think, others will follow even if it takes a awhile for the full force to be felt. Just like how we didn't like the last jedi which helped create the downfall of the Star Wars franchise.
edit: I was actually planning on organizing a drive-in movie night with my son, his cousins; and their parents in May when End Game would be showing. It would have been somewhat expensive, but I was going to pay for their tickets, etc. Screw that. We'll go to a state park or watch a different movie instead.
