My HR story.

Got hired, made a stipulation in the interview about requiring one weekend day off and my 2nd day off to be adjacent to it (I had two jobs, both got the same talk). I end up with every Fri and Sat off, both jobs. Worked 70h weeks between the two jobs for 6 months before taking a promotion at one and quitting the other. They asked me to switch my weekends to cover the shifts better. No biggie as long as I get my days off in a row. Everyone agrees. HR creates a new Scheduler position, doesn't post the position and hires her nephew. 3 months in, he has trouble making the schedule and says new company policy says I have to change my set schedule. No sir, I worked it out with HR. I get pulled into HR for being 'defiant'.

I explain the agreement we had. She denies it, says company policy says otherwise. I cite dozens of employees and other shifts where this isn't an issue. She says she hasn't looked into it and I still have to change my set schedule. (Funny part is, even if I agreed, they weren't getting any extra shifts covered, nephew just didn't like having to manually change his copy-pasta style of scheduling)

Anywho, she says I can't prove my schedule has been like this since I got hired since it wasn't in writing. I inform her that the law requires our institution to keep staffing records for 7 years and she can look at my scheduling since my hire date. She gets flustered and shuffles some papers on her desk and says I have to sign an agreement form for a schedule change. I tell her she's more than welcome to fire me for any or no reason at all, with or without notice as per At-Will Employment statutes, but I will not sign the form, and I understand and accept the consequences of refusing to sign. She spouts more company policy BS. I laugh at her and tell her to have a good day (I was off the clock).

I come back 2 days later and am escorted to HR by our male Training Director. She tells me that he is with us for her safety, she felt intimidated, and spent most of the night awake because she was afraid for her personal safety. She tells male director that I was threatening and unprofessional the previous day. I start getting worked up. This is BS. I am shaking in anger at her blatant lies and attempt to destroy my solid reputation. She again tries to tell me that I HAVE to sign the agreement form. I refuse. You are more than welcome to fire me for the refusal. She gets worked up and stutters over more company policy quotes. I offer a new solution: let's set the schedule up to appear proper and conform to company policy but let me and another coworker, who wanted my opposite days, to sign off on switching shifts for X number of months. She says this won't work, company policy. I again cite multiple examples of other staff having this setup with their respective coworkers. She quotes company policy repeatedly, never answering my questions, and constant redirection to company policy.

She finally realizes that she is going to have to fire me for a BS reason and says we will continue the conversation after we both have the weekend to dwell on it.

I come back after the weekend and low and behold, my solution is viable but I must attend a mandatory 6 sessions of anger management at our EAP. I ask what information is shared between HR and the EAP. She says that the EAP can't share anything except that I showed up. Fine, schedule doesn't change, I consider this a win.

I show up to EAP day 1. He informs me that this person sends people here all the time. She doesn't get to dictate my required number of sessions. We play the 'get to know you' game. He says I seem very level headed at the end of the session and asks if I want to come back. I tell him I'd rather not. We shake hands and I never go back.

She gets fired 6 months later for lieing to employees and (double whammy) inappropriate use of position of authority.

Fuck you dumb cunt.

TL;DR: HR tries to force schedule change after agreement upon hiring. I cite state laws. She hamsters, sends me to anger management but I get my way at the end of the day and she gets fired 6 months later for gross use of authority and lieing about policy to multiple employees.

I happened to do a building project.

Apparently connecting to my project was another intern (as was I at the time) working on that same project. So I needed her drawing changed to fit on to my project so I could go on and continue. I told her:

Me: hey I'm busy with so and so, and the guy upstairs told me you we're busy on this and this, and if I needed anything changed I needed to go to you.

Her: Why don't you do it yourself?

Me: Well, it's your drawing and they told me this is the way to go.

Her: I'm busy with some other project, you just going to have to do it yourself

Me: well then I guess I have to go back up stairs again.

Her: ....

So I'm moving and meeting the guy who instructed me, telling my side of things. He tells me that he will talk to her. I said alright.

Had lunch came back and before the guy even started talking to her. She already did the changes and mentions it to clear up any problems that might come her way.

keeping distance and the lines in check is the best way to deal with these cunts.

Job #1: I worked at a resort where the work environment was terrible, turn over high, and HR was there to make it as hostile an environment as possible.

After a few months I got called into HR with accusations that I made racist comments about Obama. I don't give a fuck about Obama and would never say such a thing. I still wonder if someone actually made a complaint like that or if the HR bitch just made it up. Another complaint was that a supposed former navy seal female made a complaint that I called her fat (which she was). What really happened was she was putting out a public bowl of m&ms and I said, "that'll go fast!"

I finally got fired when some old fat bitch fell down some spaced out decorative steps, on video. It was super clear that she wasn't watching her feet so she didn't know a drop down was coming. I put together an air tight report with the video. That dated evidence was completely dismissed though because the family stated that I promised them settlement money.

Job #2: I was the top performer on the team and the former and current boss's favorite.

Years ago we had a squatter in our house that we had to take to court to get rid of her. Of course, she never paid any damages. Turns out she somehow got hired at the same place as me, where I had worked for 3 years.

To get revenge, she went to HR with a bogus story that I made a scene in the lobby (where there is a camera) demanding money and making physical threats so she feared for her safety.

I was called up to HR, a lady who I've never seen before, who hated me the second I walked in. She accused me of all these things. I tried to defend myself with video and character witnesses but she proudly said that doesn't matter. She yelled over me the whole time, very cunty. The next day my boss called to say that I removed from the site.

Im lucky that I work only with guys at the railroad signalling systems company. No bullshit here, we talk about our disagreements at the beer, get drunk and are Ok the next day. And the guys are about twice my age.
