There are far too many people out there (ESPECIALLY women) that are extremely bold, because they grew up on social media. A place where you can, unfortunately, say anything horrendous to anyone, and nothing bad happens to you.

It’s also an era of generally docile men who don’t fight a lot, and these people hide behind camera phones, behind their computer screens, and in cars.

If the say “I do it” it’s an admission of guilt.

If they say “I hate you” it opens up their viewpoint to analysis and invites you to disagree with them.

It’s biological. Women are collectivists, they groupthink and shame. Men are individualists, they generate ideas and collaborate on merit.
