Hey RP, recent pill taker here, although I've known about game for a few years. Had this LTR recently (probably the last one for a while, knowing what I learned here) where the girl ended things. Her BS excuse: "I want marriage and kids and he doesn't".

Now, even though I didn't want kids/marriage (and I certainly dodged a bullet in that regard), she also told a friend-in-common a couple of things, such as: "I feel we're more like friends now, not bf/gf" and "I just want to feel butterflies again". What I take from that is I may have reversed to beta behavior at some point, and her rationalization was to say the things about marriage/kids. If relevant, I'm 27, she's almost 27 as well. We were ~1 year in the LTR.

She never mentioned anything to me (actually didn't even explain her reasons for breaking up, I found out about everything through the friend, then went into strict no-contact); but up until 1 week before she ended it, she was always saying how great I was, how much she wanted to see me, etc. Apparently the whole thing was "triggered" by a friend's question about her future with me (aka marriage). I actually kept a conscious effort not to show any beta behavior, even though that doesn't mean I didn't slip at some point.

Just trying to extract some lessons from this, if any.
