Women are able to retcon whole parts of their life, like flipping a lightswitch. "I hate him, I find him disgusting and he makes me feel bad. I would never truly fall in love with someone who makes me feel bad. And thus, I never really loved him, he just kind of tricked me and I am better off without him anyway."
This is also why women get a new haircut after a split-up. It helps them emotionally detach from the person that fell in love with that disgusting asshole of an ex.

Yeah I got this bullshit from my ex, after two years of her telling me every day how happy she was, she just woke up one morning and said “I have some stuff in my head that’s bothering me and I need space”. Next thing I know she’s moved out and a few months later has moved to America with some other bloke. When I asked her why she didn’t tell me that things were bothering her enough to leave, she said “I tried but then you’d talk to me and everything would feel good again because you tricked me into staying ”. I can guarantee you I never once tricked her into anything coz she never told me she wasn’t happy. They just re-write history to suit the narrative they’re trying to sell at the time, which was that mine was simply living up to her hypergamous, cheating nature and she was never mine, it was just my turn.
