About 1 year ago I bought a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath Townhome in San Diego. Love it! I immediately started working to renovate it, I used my VA loan and took my liquid cash and used that to fund most of the renovation. The renovation cost about $50,000. https://imgur.com/a/3g1CP

It went pretty smoothly and took about 2 months! I hired out for the painting and the floors, but most of the demo work was me.

I studied my own thoughts on what I wanted my "interior" theme to be, I worked hard on researching all the types of furniture I wanted and finally all the pieces came together, here is the Final product. https://imgur.com/a/NpfvF

It looked a little boring so I then decided to add some decor! He is what the house looks like now. https://imgur.com/a/9X5Rq

I then went on an emergency deployment with another command and decided last minute to put it up on Airbnb, I went about 7 month of NOT PAYING my own mortgage! It was great! Had some minor damage to fix when I got home but all in all it worked out well!

Because I don't have a GF, I have been able to buy 3 Brand new cars, build a $4,000 gaming PC, buy guns, plenty of beer, and I'm now looking at motorcycles!

I'm an Air Intercept Controller in the Navy, it can be very, very stressful and difficult at times (hence all the Jets you see in the house), I don't think I would have ANY of this or the skills that I currently have if I had a Girl in my life. They just take, take, take, take and more take.

Don't let them take from you, work hard, stay busy. It will eventually catch up and you will be successful. **Also don't forget to help those in need, its easy to get self contained in todays environment. I love to help the homeless, food, water, that volunteer work keeps me grounded and focused. :)
