Folks, We’ve reached 10,000 subscribers. And we have some announcements.

I’ve written up my anaylsis and observations over the past half a year, you can read this RIGHT HERE!

And secondly, as of today, we’re announcing a brand new website called puerarchy.com to represent this cultural shift that’s taking place. Fitting along-side many of the prominent manosphere blogs, we will be discussing life today as a puerarch.

The topic on /r/theredpill will stay the same, as it always has. Sexual strategy. All are still welcome to stay (that includes married men, MGTOW, and PUAs) but from this point forward Softharem and I will be focusing on lifestyle guides for the new generations of men. That means what to do about marriage, life, family, and more…

We will be featuring guest bloggers on our new site, as well as prominent members of /r/theredpill. Check it out now! http://www.puerarchy.com

Interested in contributing? You can submit articles for review on the “submit” tab under “contact us!” Welcome to 10,000 folks! Here’s to 10,000 more!

What is the Puerarchy you ask? Let’s look to Ian Ironwood for the answer:

The Puerarchy, for those who are new to the term, is a Manosphere term-of-art used to describe the phenomenon most recently called out as “ExtendedAdolescence” (as this harsh assessment of the group by the Guardian Angels, of all people, points out): the tendency for young men to spend a decade or so getting drunk, high, laid, and wiped out from video game exhaustion and porn marathons instead of applying nose to grindstone, getting a college education that will allow them to support their future ex-wives. It’s perplexing for feminists because it means the pool of “acceptable” men for marriage and procreation (and productive tax-paying to support the welfare state) is drying up. It’s perplexing for conservatives in the Manosphere because the Puerarchy seems to be thumbing its nose as traditional Conservative values of hard work and ambition, and succumbing to the pleasures of the flesh and the decadence of the West they shun.

Your essay makes me think of the adage that says it is foolish to take on responsibility without authority.

But this is exactly the position men are now being asked to take: arbitrarily high levels of responsibility with infinitesimal levels of authority. The most obvious, and cruel, example is child support: men are expected to foot the entire bill, but have minimal say in how their children are raised.

Conversely, women as a class are asking for and being granted infinite authority but infinitesimal responsibility.

This is what is wrong with gender relations in our society.

And I think you may be correct: the only way to reverse this trend is to evade responsibility, until society realizes that it cannot ask men to shoulder the burdens of society without getting something in return.

I just want to tell you that you are definitely getting to the feminazis. I had a date from OKC the other day who brought up TRP.

[–]RPW Mmargerym5 points6 points  (6 children) | Copy

No way! That's really great news, actually.

The funny bit was that she didn't realize she was being gamed. I didn't like her tho.

I only got her to qualify herself to me and I was charming, pretty much mechanically. She just texted me. Meh.

Now now. Save the spite bangings for the terrible bitches that deserve it, such as cheating whores with boyfriends/husbands. And women like this: http://i.imgur.com/DoKxUKr.jpg (Feminist blogger Tracie Egan Morrissey)

By the looks of it, it's not only men she dislikes. It's animals too!

I need to hear this story.

Her: I love reddit

Me: I love reddit

Her: Favourite subreddits?

Me: You first

Her: feminism, srs, adviceanimals

Me: isn't feminism unnecessary these days

Her: omg, TRP. misogynists.

Wasn't that much to it.

[–]OffenceTaken2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

srs

nope.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

yeah. you can imagine how interesting she is in real life.

[–]zionController0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Unbelievable. Whoa. :)

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Same exact thing happened to me a couple of months ago. It was quite entertaining.

[–]jinxedsoul-1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy

Tell us more? I'm intrigued...

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

It wasn't much. I wasn't really feeling her.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (0 children) | Copy

Nice, I'm looking forward to the evolution of red pill theory.

Edit: fantastic first article as well ~

Be sure to turn off any Ad Blockers boys...lets see our brethren get paid.

[–]Lok_Die1 point2 points  (4 children) | Copy

Do i actually have to click on that shit? or will just viewing the page with ads get them their much deserved cash?

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 2 points3 points  (3 children) | Copy

There are currently no ads except for two books that I recommend. We did put up affiliate links for them, but I would recommend buying the books with or without the affiliate links. Just trying to cover hosting costs if possible.

[–]sfstexan0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy

I clicked on the book links and added them to my Amazon wish list. I got plenty of books on my Kindle right now.. and usually just buy in bunches off my wishlist based on what I want to read next.

Any idea if I buy off of my wishlist at a later date you would still get the affiliate money? since initially I clinked on the puerarchy links to get them into the wish list

(I have no idea how Amazon affiliate links work... )

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I have no idea! I apparently get a small percentage if you put other stuff in your cart after clicking my links though.

[–]AlwaysLateToThreads-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

I love my Kindle.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

Now this is what I'm talking about. About time we got our own sandbox away from Beta HQ a.k.a. Reddit. So it looks like we're taking certain pieces of TRP and developing a lifestyle around them? Fuck yeah, I'm in.

[–]hiyuh5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

The new site looks good, nice to see this sub gaining more momentum.

[–]seakelpmagee2 points3 points  (4 children) | Copy

Is there any way to see the rate r/TRP has grown comparatively to other subs?

[–]Ronfar1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy

I haven't done the rate per day growth, but I did visualise the subscribership size of TRP to other mens' & womens' issues subreddits a few weeks ago HERE

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 4 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy

We got 2,000 subs in 18 days.

[–]un-affiliated3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

That's what happens whenever someone makes a big thread somewhere else attacking the place. People come to see for themselves and end up sticking around.

That's how I got here.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

So what you're saying is that in a few months, TRP has already garnered half as many followers as /r/feminisms

Fuck yes.

[–]RedSunBlue4 points5 points  (14 children) | Copy

Puerarchy? "Boy-rulers".

No thanks jeff, this is getting too dorky for me. Michael Jackson and Peter Pan were Puerarchs.

I'd rather see a movement of men taking power and taking no shit, rather then emulating 'forever-boyhood' responsibility shirking in order to get the results you need/want. This term allows the hoardes of beta neck beards to justify their lifestyle, hurr durr I'm fighting feminism by shirking responsibility (and im not talking child support, rather self-improvement, accountability, fitness, etc). Sounds like a neck-beard circle-jerk to me.

Acquire wealth, acquire status, acquire fitness, acquire social power, command the change you want.

Acquire wealth, acquire status, acquire fitness, acquire social power, command the change you want.

I'm sorry, but where is the get-married, have kids portion of that?

Whoops, you're in the puerarchy.

[–]str8muscle1 point2 points  (6 children) | Copy

Puerarchy (according to redpillroom's site): "the tendency for young men to spend a decade or so getting drunk, high, laid, and wiped out from video game exhaustion and porn marathons instead of applying nose to grindstone, getting a college education that will allow them to support their future ex-wives".

You might be in the puerarchy, by the above definition, I certainly am not. However I am red pill, have been so since The Game was first released.

I dont understand why what you quoted above has to involve marriage and kids.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] -2 points-1 points  (5 children) | Copy

That definition is exaggerated to mean, doing anything that doesn't directly benefit others.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (4 children) | Copy

instead of applying nose to grindstone, getting a college education that will allow them to support themselves

That is the more concerning part of that definition. Sure it's great to not feel like a slave to a low wage employer with no chance for promotion or to not feel constrained by an unfulfilling relationship, but the implication that you'll derail your own path to success to prevent the possibility of being taken advantage of by others is what I think other TRPers are questioning. Am I not reading that last part correctly?

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy

I think we all desire the maximum happiness for ourselves. And in that, success for ourselves is a priority.

We've kinda stolen the "puerarchy" term and embraced it.

Technically, the puerarchy are people who didn't push success beyond "good enough" for their purposes and it's detrimental to society.

Our application of it is "we each define what's good enough for ourselves, not society." If that means getting a degree and getting rich, fair play. So long as you do it for you.

The puerarchy is a description of what's happening, not a choice.

[–]MSoftHarem0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I think you're getting caught up on the name. We are simply taking the best aspects of Game and MGTOW and combining them into a fraternity of sorts. Basically, high value men who have no problem dating, yet want no part of marriage or making the world a better place. We don't believe the Patriarchy can be rebuilt. Feminism has done its damage and the nuclear family is dead.

George Clooney is the puerarch, would call him a dorky neckbeard?

[–]Lord_Perseus2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Puerarchists? If this is what we are now I damn well like it. Bringing a little evolution to our revolution Gentlemen I salute you.

Viva la Puerarchy!

We buck the social narrative. It has to fight back.

Unless they say differently, I'd pronounce it "POO-air-arky"

I wish somebody would have asked me before coining this term. Seriously, puerarchy? Mixing Latin + Greek makes an educated man cry.

Oh well, I agree with the sentiment wholeheartedly. I pretty much told my 18 year old son all of that a full year before I discovered the red pill. Smoke weed, get laid, don't waste your time or money on college. Nobody in my family ever did a damn thing with their education anyway, except make pedantic criticisms on web forums anyway.

[–]Senior ContributorDemonspawn0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Men were transforming from willing participants in a culture that demanded much from them but rewarded them for the trouble, into unwilling slaves in a culture that demanded responsibility but maintained they didn’t even need them.

Yep. Society will eventually learn that civilization runs on men's backs. Unfortunately I believe they will figure this out way too late.

[–]md6190 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I remember when I first subscribed here I thought we would forever be stuck at ~1000 or ~2000 members. The ideas were simply too controversial for the mainstream, especially on at left-leaning site like reddit. Glad to see I was wrong.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

20k, here we come!

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Mods, keep up the good work and maybe take a few pages out of the /r/AskHistorians playbook if you haven't already. They're at 157K subscribers, they've avoided all the traps that come with growth, and the mods are fucking religious about enforcing their rules.

Also: how do you pronounce "puerarchy"?

[–]Modredpillschool[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

Pure-or-archy

Is there any metalinker bot we can get for TRP?

I've noticed that all the SRS, feminism, againstmensrights subs hardly ever use np.reddit links. They usually PROMOTE vote brigading. I saw that /r/mensrights had some type of metalinker or SRSlinker bot that posts a comment whenever another subreddit posts that thread anywhere on reddit.

EDIT: Something like u/Meta_bot. Except, it appears a guy manually went through linker subreddits like SRS, Subredditdrama, etc and simply reverse posted that comment in whatever they linked to. But a bot like that would be amazing.

I guess you are not familiar with the concept of hedonism.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Meaning is what you make of it. The puerarchy isn't something you have to care about to be part of.
