My favorite charity story.

I was living in a relatively large city in NE.

Bum outside convenience store asked for a buck. I give him a $5. He holds it up over his head in disbelief and smiling exclaims "thank ya Jesus!" He runs inside and grabs 3 forties of malt liquor and disappears into the weeds behind the store. He looked borderline retarded.

I used to give this one homeless guy money everyday on my way to work, one day I was low on cash, gave him like $1.25 in quarters, he looked incredulous and cursed me over the change. Fuck you pal, ungrateful bastard, I don't give shit to anyone now, they'll just spend in on booze and drugs. If they want to get off the streets they'll go to a shelter (but those require sobriety).
