MGTOW isn't about changing anything. If you think you can change something join the MRM. The whole point of MGTOW is to except that nothing will change anytime soon, and to find peace and happiness on your own. In reality, that's what everyone should do anyway.

Every time I've had a quiet moment with a young guy and dropped a few red pills they've responded strongly with "I know, right?" and have their own examples and stories of relatives, friends or even themselves.

I'm saying that to point out that you might actually know and interact with men who are MGTOW. Most MGTOW have never heard of the acronym. They just follow the logical path.

It's not a movement, it's a personal choice on how to live and mitigate risk that society poses wherever you live. It's not something to shout from the mountaintop.

It's very possible that you've met MGTOW and just didn't know it because MGTOW don't advertise that they are, which is how it should be.

I'm sure there are plenty of local MGTOW's around. It's not something you advertise. Just go to a bar and look for that guy that gives zero fucks when a pretty girl walks by. That's MGTOW.

Like they say, don't talk about it unless you are sure the other guy is red pilled.

The only person I talk about MGTOW with is my 25 year old son. I started red pilling him a year ago and two months ago he went full MGTOW and dumped his girlfriend.

Men who openly and fully identify as MGTOW irl are rare.

Men who have at least some MGTOW or Red Pill views on women and the world at large are by now a very significant minority, from the biggest slayer I've ever known to the guys in your average CompSci class. So are men who not only hold some of these views, but to a limited extent act upon them.

So yeah, full MGTOW, movement and everything is rare but it doesn't mean there isn't enough of you to do anything. There are plenty of people like me who, if the time ever comes, will help you out because we know we are getting a raw deal out of society.

Things can change. Can you imagine if somebody had said back in the 1980s that there would be gay marriage by now? Just because we may be the minority doesn't mean that we're wrong and it could well be that we are the first of what could be a movement that changes stuff. But as the previous commentator said, control what's in your own sphere of influence.

But, how long have you been MGTOW ? It is expected if you grew up in an blue-pilled environment, that the people you knew for years won't understand your philosophy. Only after a few months or a few years, you begin to know better the new people you surrounded yourself with, if you didn't chose to completely ghost everyone.

I once had a friend tell me that he likes to get on here, and read stories and fantasize about being single. Other than that, I've never heard anyone else mention it.
