I think males will be in underground CIA/black cell home schools, like a fight-club model, DHARMA Initiative, or if you saw that movie Kingsman, where they go to a secret school. These secret schools will be managed by true professionals,or skilled men to train the next generations of scientists and technicians, while the now women-managed companies and infrastructure fall completely apart. And these schools will not be apart of government oversight, as they would force female attendance and agenda. In order to enroll you have to solve a puzzle or some task and text. There would be no centralized leadership, no diplomas or gradating. Just learning to get things done.

On principle, I'd prefer males keep their male spaces. What they're doing is wrong. That being said, it doesn't surprise me that the BSA has bent over for the big strap-on dildo.

My retrospective on cub scouts. I was a cub scout back in the 80s. I disliked it. I disliked begging for donations to sponsor the masochistic 20km walk to raise money for the Pack. "I'm going to torture myself, pay me." I disliked selling popcorn and wrapping paper. That was about the dumbest fundraiser compared to Girl Scout Cookies, which people actually look forward to buying every year. I didn't know anyone who looked forward to boys begging them to buy wrapping paper and popcorn. I disliked doing chores to earn badges on my uniform so I could bask in the admiration of folks that want to earn badges to put on their uniforms. Not to mention the gay handshake, the pseudo-worship of all things American Indian, and all the flag humping. Of course that was still during the cold war (albeit near the end), so pretty much everyone was a flag humper.

So I see organized masochism just going the next step: bring women in, so they can add yet another absurdity to the organization.

Maybe scouts has changed in the 30 years since I left it. If girls want to become cub scouts, the way I see it they're going to partake in the same absurdity I did. Sucks to be them.

If you were a scout and had a different, more positive experience, then I'm sincerely happy for you.
