I'm guessing the solution to this one is not hard. Dr Who is mostly watched by men if I'm not mistaken, so drop the show, don't watch it. If viewership trashes, they'll have to come around.

The consequences of a drop on viewership seem to be deeper than thought. Dr. Who and previously Top Gear were the 2 top tiering shows aired by the BBC overseas, giving a big revenue to the channel, if said viewership drops, the only way of coping with the loss of revenue might be to increase or create more taxation to keep the station going on (BBC being a state owned network and such) so, in a way even if the show drops overseas all of the British might end up with a bigger taxation.

I fear for the men there...

Dr. Who a kids program from the sixties,couldn't compete with the original Outer limits, and I never got past the first episode.

I've loved Dr. Who since the reboot in 2005, and all of the Dr.s have been great (imo). This will make me stop watching though. Female Dr is bullshit. Dr. Who is a dude.

the show was over when they succumbed to the romantic twists in the reboot. There was too much focus on that to get female viewers interested.

Then, more oppressive "strong female" character types were included and the spiral was completed.

the limit to the # of regeneration, originally, had to be modified to further the script for future use but, really, it's par for the feminist agenda: After they run out of ways to feminize men, they just turn them INTO women. And THEN, when popularity tanks, blame sexism.

I think I know what the premise is- the male/female predominant aspects blah blah blah, but females can't manage what men create just as men can't manage what women create. Producers vs Consumers mindset.

Back to the good Doctor, all shows jump the shark sooner than later, and the sooner is when they add a "love interest" for the male characters. (RIP Big Bang Theory, for one example)
