I have 3 good, married friends and all 3 of them self admittedly live in dead bedroom relationships. Not all 3 of them openly complain, they say it's "mutual" etc. Still... i see a pattern. (And the saddest part is, those are not 50 or 60yo men, they are still fairly young and their wives are even younger.)

Because they WERE tricked into marrying them. The woman presented herself as a loyal, traditional woman that would drain the man's nuts daily, stay pretty, treat him well, and maintain the home in perpetuity. Then, a few months to a few years into marriage, she takes off the mask and shows who she really is. But it's too late for the men, as they're legally on the hook and have to support this human cock roach that takes and takes while giving nothing in return.

Part of it is the bait and switch some women pull in order to get the ring and commitment. Once they have it, they change and pull a 180 on things that would have been a deal breaker for the guy before he commits.

Maybe it's sex frequency, or its joint finances (This one is HUGE). I know guys who married a woman with a good income/career who instantly quit/got fired when they were married for a year or so with zero intention of working again. All of a sudden the lifestyle that he thought he was going to have a dual income to support becomes a struggle as princess still insist on getting everything while not helping out financially.

Guy is there juggling a mortgage on a $750K+ home, bills, stupid trips he doesn't want and the purchase of endless overpriced nick-nacks all while trying to slay the corporate world during the day.

Then Princess usually begins the additional process of de-balling him by taking over the house he is funding and relegating him to a small area - and on and on it goes.
