Your friend should have banned her, no invited her along. That's entirely on him not controlling his relationship. You want to be in relationships, fine, but you don't infect your other friends by bringing her along all the time, especially if it involves anything more complex that a visit to the mall.

That's how you lose friends, injecting your sex partners into your friend groups, her primary goal is to separate him from you, and socially isolate him.

Hahaaa it reminds me of something familiar. Having worked in tourism, this young couple decided to go for a safari in Tanzania to see African wild life. We briefed her before she left the states some of the precautions to take since most travel insurance companies won't cover attacks from wild animals or amateur exploration antics in Africa. While in the bush with the guide, she says she needs to pee like right now. Apparently she can't hold it until they get to the camp. Guide insists, it's illegal to get out of the land rover in a wild life conservation. She wont have it and finally boyfriend and guide give in. They found a a small bush where she can pee but unfortunately, it was next to a warthog's burrow with young piglets. The guide never noticed it. Mama warthog senses danger around the territory and starts chasing the woman. Guide gets out of the Landover to distract warthog but boyfriend remains in car. Obviously the girl is angry at boyfriend and as soon as they went back to the camp, she calls us using the camp's satellite phone to tell us she won't be continuing with the the rest of the trip and she needs us to book her a new ticket back to the U.S as soon as possible.

You should have gone up the path and had your friend go back down the path and blocked it for a minute from other hikers (very friendly people generally who will find hilarity in the situation) while you let his gf pee in the woods. Done it before, works like a charm.

If she refuses to 'man up', then just hike on your own.
