I feel like humor will slowly die in this society. Sexist, racist, politically incorrect jokes....all gone. Society is too soft. Tell the person the joke wasn't tasteful, inappropriate...then move on. But people act like its the fucking end of the world.

So tired of hearing about women being "oppressed" or being a "historically oppressed gender" and whatnot. Absolute rubbish. Rich vs poor / haves and have nots has almost always been the dividing factor. The only genuine oppression that has taken place has been when people have been removed from their homelands and forced into slavery. Women are demanding special treatment in the here and now for imagined past events that had no effect on them whatsoever... tell me again how modern women are oppressed, please?

Reading the comments, it seems pretty clear cut on people's expectations at work. Men, when going into a workplace, will adapt to that environment. Women on the other hand, demand that environment change to suit their whims. A hundred men who carried out and did their jobs are suddenly wrong, oppressive and misogynistic as soon as you throw a few women into the mix.

Gender segregation works well. I don't have a single female on my staff. Work gets done. Then we have fun. The general philosophy of "work hard and play hard" doesn't work in a mixed office.
