TL;DR A woman's love is fickle because they do not love you the way they love children, they only respect you. Once you lose that respect she is repulsed by you. Be a man.

Recently with the different post about LTR's, I've seen in the comments a lot of men asking and saying that they don't understand how a woman's love can be so fickle, and I can sense anger in the comments. I've also noticed a lot of men commenting as a response, "Men love women, women love children, children love puppies." I want to shed some light on this quote, for those that are not quite sure how to grasp it, or struggling to believe it.

Don't try to rationalize why they don't love us equally, don't try to hamster away and think some might be different. Instead, understand why they (gasp) love us.

Men are at the top of the hierarchy. Puppies are at the bottom. Do you think it's possible for a puppy to love its owner(child) the way the child loves it? The puppy gets scared when it thunders, and the child holds it to comfort it. When the puppy is hungry, it looks up to the child and begs for food. The child loves this puppy unconditionally because it is responsible for caring for the puppy. The puppy is basically led by the child for guidance on what to do, when to eat, when to poop.

Mothers love their children unconditionally for the same reasons. Does anyone think it's possible for a child to love a mother the way the mother loves a child? Instead let's ask, would the child give their life for their mother? Absolutely not, but the mother protects and would give her life for her child. The mother loves the child unconditionally because she is responsible for the well being of that child. The child can't reciprocate that love, it can only respect the mother for taking care of it. The child looks up to the mother, it can never understand the unconditional love the mother has for it.

Now ask yourself, do women look after us, or do we look after them? Would women give their lives for us, or would we do it for them? Do women fix our problems, or do we fix theirs? Because we are the ones who are always so consciously aware of how to keep them happy, how to protect them, is their danger around, am I making enough money to provide for my family, our love is unconditional. It's unconditional because by nature, we want to protect them.

Many men say here that they would not give their life for their woman. I don't believe that to be true. If you're vested in a woman, you love her and you plan on having children, you most definitely will in the heat of passion. If you took a poll and asked 1000 women, "would you give your life for your partner?" What do you think the results would be?

They will never love us or see us in that same way as we see them. So then what kind of love is it? It's respect. The same way it's a different kind of love between a child and a mother, and between a child and a puppy. The puppy looks up to the child, the child looks up to the mother, the woman looks up to us. The person below the other in the hierarchy never fully understands the decisions, and effort the one above them is making.

Much like a soldier can never understand the decisions a commanding officer in war needs to make, they just expect them to know, and to act. We are the leaders in a relationship, because we're rational, because we're physically and mentally stronger, because we don't have a week of the month where we are a disaster. We are superior to women, but as a result, this is the emotional burden we carry. If you're choosing to be in a long term relationship, you need to grasp this concept fully. The sooner you can grasp this you can truly see your past flaws, and where you need to improve in your life as a man.

This is why when a guy isn't a "man" she is repulsed, because she needs a man, not a boy. Whether she knows it or not, it's in her nature to look for that.

Lessons Learned: She's into men, be one.
