Yeah right now I'm only working 29 hours a week.. I've never had a full time job but I make like 19 dollars an hour so I get by just fine. I'm an operations manager for a shipping service. I want a rich lifestyle but im humble with everything I have. Right now I'm working on the bod I've always been skinny but I'm bulking and lifting 4 to 5 days a week. After going MGTOW it made me realize how important self love is.

I think the only real issue is living within your means. The problem with a lot of expensive cars, mcmansion and trophy wife guys is that its all a bullshit house of cards built on debt, if not petty fraud, corruption and exploitation.

If you can wake up every morning, create true value in the world around you and live comfortably within your means, it doesn't matter if you make 30k or 30m a year.

Retired living on only 50% of my pension,and invest the rest,because I'm low maintenance for myself alone. Minimalist lifestyle because that's normal for me and not just the aesthetic,I'm more comfortable that way. I drive a mid sized car, live in an uncluttered apartment, ride my bike cross country, eat well,callisthenics, socialise with people of differing views,keep a low profile and try to get out and about every day.

I’m in the same boat right now. Making 30k a year or so and only working 25-30 hours a week. This society has killed all incentive for a man to get rich. I don’t want to be rich at all cause these days it paints a bigger target on your head. I have business ideas that I would pursue if this society wasn’t absolute shit. This is what happens at the downfall of a society. Men no longer have any incentive to create and innovate and they just want to live out their days in peace. I don’t want to start a business and have to hire women or sell to women or have anything to do with them. One false accusation and I lose my business. What’s the fucking point? I no longer want to work with women and I don’t have to deal with them with the job I have now. I was training employees for extra money and sometimes it would be women who would have to spend a few hours riding around in the car with me. I said fuck that once this metoo shit came around and told my boss I’d like to stop doing that despite the extra money. I’ve actually shaved my head to show off my extreme receding hairline and dress like shit on purpose to not attract any attention from them. I’m a mother fucking ghost these days #ghostthesehoes

When you pair down, it's really interesting how little you need to meet your needs and be comfortable. It's surprisingly little. It's also amazing how much clutter and pure crap we have in our lives. I did a serious purge not long ago and eliminated over half of everything I owned. And I'm not done. If you can break that cycle of desiring and buying, you'll be amazed at how much cash will flow back into your pocket. It's literally thousands of dollars over time.

Thats literally all i need in my life. Expensive cars and mansions and the like are bullshit and drive you nowhere. Even if i become a millionaire lets say ill save my money.

28; work 15-20 hours a week after becoming debt-free, rent from friends for $250 a month back room w/ kitchen/bathroom access, cook all my meals for most part, saved up about 25K prior to leaving corporate world. Robo-investments, 401k from last gig still compounding still try to put at least 2k in investment folio every year at least strive to. Past 6 months have allowed me to live the life many aspire for, traveled to North Carolina, Belgium and Amsterdam, lots and lots of skiing at home base in northeast, writing about fantasy hockey for pay, really enjoying time with friends and strengthening new ones. The live to work mindset rammed down our throats is so sad and I really hope many can see the light so to speak. Stop spending so much find out exactly what your life costs you per year and adhere to a budget.

Right now I'm seeking employment, but the outline I've made for my life since going MGTOW is very simple. I want to live as minimalist as possible while not giving up all of my comforts at once. It'll be a process. Planning on getting into one of the skilled trades and enrolling in trade school to that end in August of this year. My ultimate plan is to save up, buy a plot of land far from any city and not too close to a town, and build a log cabin on that land. More than likely I'll go completely off the grid once I accomplish that. Grow and hunt and fish for my food, draw my water from a well, sit on the porch in a rocking chair, play my banjo and listen to the wind-chimes. Cigars, pipe tobacco, chaw scotch, bourbon in the evenings, strong coffee, eggs, potatoes, steak and toast in the mornings. Maybe some IPA or stout for lunch. Might get back into homebrewing.

Planning on working part-time through school and saving up as much as I can until then.

I’m mid 30s. Make about $100,000. I work 50+ hours a week and don’t have time to waste. I save over 60% and live very simply. A $5000 car, small apartment.

I’d like to own a house outright and garden on the weekends. Also I’d like to dabble in A/V and a serene room to have it all in.

But simple makes me happy. I’m content with my books and my shows and my limited downtime.

Might move to Thailand upon retirement.

Im currently doing an internship at a small organic farm, learning how to grow food is part of my long term plan based on a self-reliant philosophy. I love being outside , all my life i live in cities , they are cool to visit but i dont see myself living in one anymore.

Honestly, if I wasn't stuck in a job i don't mind i would be a minimalist. But i work in a trade with mostly men and get to play on my phone half the day. So why leave.

But the money is good, and the house is paid off, so i waste allot. If you enjoy your job, feel free to have nice things.

33 here and make about 50k a year. I hate driving to work since I can't see spending part of my life sitting in traffic. Unfortunately, living close to work isn't as cheap in my area but will be downgrading apartment soon. I pay my bills first thing in the month, then I pay myself by putting some in savings. Everything I own is paid for including my car. No car note helps a lot!! I always tell people the longest commitment I've had is with my car 10+ years strong!

I have a lot of "me" time so I enjoy low key things. I workout on a regular basis and nothing gives me more of a thrill than a good workout.

I live with the mentality that I make 10k a year so I squeeze every penny I can. I don't love my job but knowing I have plenty in savings gives me the peace of mind that I can nope the fuck out of here if I want.

Early 30s. Here's what's "regular" to me. Live in a studio apartment. Basically a bed and an extravagant desk/workspace (which doubles as dining table), decent kitchen and bathroom. I don't even have a car to worry about. Just me, my little place, and a few guys I play sports with on a fairly regular basis.

Wake up. Exercise/train. Breakfast. Science (reading/writing from the comfort of my home battlestation). Head into the lab, check up on the underlings and colleagues. Lunch. Science (lab-necessary stuff, or more reading/writing depending on what I'm waiting for). Head home. Maybe pickup some fresh groceries on the way. Dinner and veg out. Then depending on the night, sports or science. Some rec reading or internet browsing. Sleep.

Most days go like this. Some days I catch myself in the mirror, smiling like an idiot. Then I laugh, thinking about how good life is now compared to certain times in the past. Simplicity is the way to go.
