Hello fellow men,

Some of you might remember me, but a quick run down is 22/M, recently divorced after getting out of the Navy. No applicable civilian skills from my military time.

I feel like I'm at the end of the rage stage from taking the Red Pill. I'm not going to lie, I'm depressed. My goal in life was always the nuclear family. I can see that it is all but impossible these days. I'm an only child and it's quite depressing that I'm ending the genetic line.

I'm sitting here, broke, unsure what direction to take in my life. Even though the divorce isn't shafting me as hard as possible, I got out of the Navy unplanned (medical issue, but no medical disability pay) and I'm forced to file bankruptcy.

Thankfully I started a new job at a little less than $10/Hour and I'm living with my parents, otherwise I'd be homeless. I'm planning on going to college to persue a career in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Bachelors, ~65K average salary). I just can't help but shake off the feeling that I have more potential than a 9-5 the rest of my life. Entering a career at ~27 years old will be really odd.

Do you fellow men have any recommendations? I know you have to start from somewhere to get wealthy; I'm willing to put in work. I'd like to own my own business someday. I have a few ideas but no capital, and they're probably too niche to become very profitable.

I just feel like I'm in a rock and a hard place. Most men my age are graduating college and going into legitimate careers. I'm behind the power curve... and I don't know what to do with myself in a bachelors life.

Are there any tradesmen out there? I really like the lifestyle (not a desk job) of an electrician. My dad says that it's a hard career to enter unless you know somebody though. I know they can make mad money, but I have no idea what is a realistic expectation and at what timeframe.

Thanks if you got this far.
