My mom can be one of the most loving, caring, and unselfish humans I've ever known. However, she can ALSO be one of the most hateful, bitter, selfish, and illogical humans I've ever known. It's odd how she can be both in the span of a few minutes lol, but alas, she's my mom and I love her to death.

My mom and dad are still together and love each other very much. However, seeing my dad bow to my mom when she's at her worst and being a total bitch to him for no reason other than the sun is shining, has firmly engrained in me that my decision to go MGTOW was the right choice.

My mother has only been with one man, my father, and she is literally the best woman I've ever met. She was a gifted ed teacher who would come home and make dinner for my siblings and I from fresh meat, potatoes, and vegetables every night. Amazing cook, kept the house in order, and took care of us kids because my father worked long hours to provide for us. Growing up, he was gone before we woke up and wouldn't get home until around 8pm. My mother did not shirk her duties and is the standard I set for women today. Turns out, there are no women like that today.

Love my mother and she showed me that a single parent can be effective. (yes, I'm biased but I'm doing well for myself)

I was conceived out of wedlock and my father offered to marry her due to me but she declined. She also never demanded welfare or child support.

There was some struggle for luxuries but all the basic necessities for life and education were provided by her effort to work hard and be smart with what money she earned. Her effort and lessons on the value of money and future planning still drive my lifestyle and spending policy today.

She has a lot of flaws, but I love her. My mom does a lot of things wrong, but does others extremely well. She divorced my dad of course, but had the decency to never badmouth him or prevent me from seeing him when I wanted to.

Honestly, both my parents fucked up a good bit and are flawed. But I feel loved by them and cared for

My mother did not trust a lot of other women. She knew. She stayed by my father's side even after he, admittedly, fucked up pretty bad. Near then end of their lives one could not have imagined them apart.
