Hops, Artichoke, A ton of hot peppers, I also plan to have a great guava crop and blackberries as well. Lemons and strawberries are also looking good.

In November I planted about 12 cloves of Elephant Garlic and probably around 60 cloves of Inchelium Red Garlic in a raised bed to overwinter. (It's looking great this spring)

At the end of March I planted:

10 Yukon Gold and 10 Red Potato plants.
Approx 240 each of Red & White onions.
Scattered Radish and Carrot seeds around in available raised beds however, I'm not seeing any action from the Carrot seed.
Two Cherry Tomatoes, 2 Eggplants, 3 cucumbers, and a squash from Lowes Burpee offerings. These are doing well so far.

I've been trying my hand at seed starting this year and set up up various seedling on a warming mat under a humidity cover and grow light and they seem to popping up quick. (Some cantelope, cucumbers, squash, and number of Lavender seedlings that I'll have to transplant around.)

I just got in a pound of Jerusalem Artichokes and a pound or Horseradish roots that I'm going to try my hand at this year yesterday.

Basically, I had just been planting the raised beds, but just recently defeated this limiting behavior and am presently trying non-invasive seeds in various locations around my 5 acres. My goal is to replace two bought veggies a year with home grown stuff and this year marks the first full growing season of opportunity.

I'm growing tomatoes, all kinds of peppers, artichokes, eggplants, black berries, strawberries, lemons, persimmons, mullberries, okra, yellow and zucchini squash, cucumbers, chives, oregano, basil, cilantro, fennel, grapes, watermelons and cantaloupes. I have an empty lot I've transformed into a good sized garden.

Dude, I once pulled entire front yard up and planted veggies.

Shade, oak trees, etc. were in back.

I did this until I left that place. Used to have butterflies, dragon flies, etc. all over that front yard.

If such, you are in harmony with a basic need and understanding. Food, and owning your way to give it importance.

I planted 2 raspberry bushes a couple of summers ago. Now I have about 25 canes that will produce berries this year. I'm having a lot of fun molding these canes into growing the way I want them to grow.

Staying on top of the dandelions as they pop up on the front lawn is fun too :)

I'm gardening annuals, herbs, and peppers.

My first pot is full of Hungarian hot wax peppers. I'm planning to make paprika out of them. And my second pot is full of violet petunias, marigolds, and spearmint.

Mainly herbs...but I really would like to plant some parsley. I use more parsley than nearly anything else. That and tarragon...but tarragon is tough because you need to plant from cuttings, as opposed to seeds.

I'm actually growing lemon trees in my apartment, 450w grow light.

4 to 5 years to bear fruit as well, they're also picky on soil, pot type, and fertilizer used.

I grow quite a bit, but my favorite is pineapples and they're ridiculously easy. 1. Buy a nice pineapple at the store, chop the top off with about .5-.75" of fruit from the base of the top (it won't be much because of the curvature of the fruit.) 2. Let the detached top dry out for a couple days. 3. Plant in an 8-10" pot with a mix of sand and soil. Note: it is best to treat the pot beforehand with something to control the roots, so you don't end up with a terrible ball in a couple years. 4. Water every 2-5 days depending on your climate and zone (soil should never dry out, nor be overly saturated for extended periods.) If the blades start to curl, it needs water. 5. Feed pineapple with granules every month or so. 6. Be patient! Most pineapples planted this way will produce about three fruits before going sterile, but they will be the most delicious you've ever tasted - nothing from the store compares, I promise. 7. Harvest when the outside is yellow/orange. Note: if you leave the plant outside, take it inside nightly once the fruit begins to turn yellow - if you don't, critters WILL eat it! Have fun!

When I had a house, tomatoes, jalapenos, bell pepper, squash at minimum. Then I'd try to grow something completely random that I'd never grown before. Basically throw a dart at a list of vegetables. I miss gardening.

Mainly just herbs this year: basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme, and the mint that will never die.

Garlic was planted last fall, got about 70 of them coming along nicely.

Veg wise I'm only doing high cost crops this year: tomatoes, some yellow/orange bell peppers, beets, and fancy lettuces. This is the stuff I think home gardeners should focus on if they have limited time or space - the stuff that costs a lot at the store.

I've got 3 kales going that have been giving since late winter. My basils are picking up (they only like >60F). Other than that I have a pollinator garden with Allysum and bee plant. Chives are just getting going. I was late with my lettuce but it's just sent up some cotyledons. Some basil I started early has totally dwarfed, plant is going to be no more than 12" tall.
